Very informative, thank you for the tutorial. Is it possible to model dam destruction in QGIS using a similar workflow? I would appreciate any advice

It's possible to visualize the flooding that may occur after a dam breach. For added effect, you can animate it with a plugin, for example the one called Crayfish

​@@georgiregrarians thank you! I do know about Crayfish. I was just impressed by how you managed this modeling using QGIS only without using GIS GRASS or HEC-RAS.
