They handle lower voltage just as well as Korean amps. That was a rumor that got started when the video of the tractor trailer Brazilian setups catching fire. It was high voltage amps on a much larger scale of power. They don't care for vibration or high rca input voltages, or impedance below .7, the catching fire rumor is bs, at least in a vehicle on the 12volt amplifiers
