Sure got a lot of haters commenting on his set up.maybe he's using what his budget allows? different vehicles have different transfer function.port on side might sound better than pointed back or up.it still slams imo.ive been doing this a lot longer than a lot of you kids.since 1989.i don't compete anymore but I still love my bass.the technology in amps today wasn't around in the late 90s.you actually had to know what you were doing to get big numbers and get loud.now people buy a expensive sub and put 5k to it and it gets loud.no work involved.

@@DeepPoeticSociety it's all about the box. You can have the best subs and amps, but if your box is crap you won't get the performance you want. A prefab box is ok, but one built specifically for your subs specs will make the neighbors call the cops from blocks away.

I will have two subs EACH in their own individual box/chamber(I started with one and now adding another almost two months after purchasing it) plus I have a brand new aftermarket Sony head unit. I'll get new speakers next month to complete it. So does this sound good so far?

@@DeepPoeticSociety 2 subs will definitely sound better and louder than one. The thing to consider when matching speakers and boxes is the cubic air space. A sub that requires 1.0 cubic feet will still work with more or less space, but will only reach maximum efficiency in a box/chamber that is 1.0 cubic feet. The requirements vary depending on the type of box used (sealed,ported, bandpass). My suggestion would be to find other bassheads local to you for tips on your specific goals. There is a difference between being loud af and sounding good. You can be loud and still sound good (musical). While losing dental work loud is a completely different design setup. Try looking on fb for a group near you or local car meets and asking around. One word of caution: there are a lot of people doing hack work. Make sure the people you're getting advice from are reputable and do clean work. Last thing you want is to blow your equipment or risk a fire because of some dipshit.

I'm hitting a 150 in my suv and 154.3 with my hatch back both on the dash sealed up, same system just moved from one vehicle to another. My port is on the side it's a slot port right now it's in my suv so the subs are facing back an port on the side runs along the floor, in my hatch back subs face up an port on the side runing from the floor to the top of the box

@@prodigyybassboosts If you see a red flash ever even on bumps is bad, but a lot do it. Even a light clip overtime will damage a sub and cause excessive heat as well as coil becoming burnt. I wouldn't recommend it even if it sounds louder just turn down a notch.
