Not necessarily, it could be to feel the strength of the other hand with a check raise. If she check-raises, and andrew calls or re-raises, she could be almost certain he's not bluffing. In this case, she'll be saving herself a lot of chips. The worse case would be her calling and hitting a king or attempting a bluff on the river (since she's first to act) - in which case she'll lose so much more chips. I'd say she could be buying information with that check-raise, which considering the size of the blinds (160k BB) could be a decent investment. Of course, she'd be better off folding at that spot but since its only 3 players left, she can't play too tight, so how she played this hand was somewhat justified ^Or maybe she was just tilted and didn't think too much, who knows? 🤷‍♂

I never understand raising with the nuts. I know you want to get it all in, but you can only get in what they are willing to put in and they are much more likely to do it if it is their idea. Show strength when you are weak, and show weak when you are strong. Tsung Su.

I know how everyone of these poker player plays. I dealt this game before any players at this final table even played the game. And when they did become pros, I dealt to them for years included this event. I too was a player and still am. It’s not my profession but I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience at the table. I see all these so called pros make mistakes I wouldn’t make. Every player can make a bad decision but not a stupid mistake . There’s a difference .
