In this video, I break down a very common operator in computer programming called the "modulo operator", useful to calculate the remainder of an integer division.
This video is part of the series "Learning C#: Introduction to Computer Programming for Designers", taught by @garciadelcastillo on @ParametricCamp.

It's a pretty ok explanation. The best way would be to write it on a whiteboard or put pictures on the screen(or animations). It can be a bit too much information to keep in memory and keep understanding the principle without a visual.

Hey Jose, Silly questions from me, but when I inveredted the equation ( instead of 7 % 3, I did 3%7, which should be a mathematical error), I got the answer 3. bit confused here. Let me know what I'm missing. thank you :)

3 divided by 7 is 0, and the integer remainder is still 3 :)

I clicked on this to hear about the awkward application of this operator with FLOATS. What about that??
