[4 + (-9) + 9] ÷ (-2)³ = 4 ÷ (-8) = -1/2. No need for Pemdas; I just did the math.

Greetings. The answer is negative 1/2 . The square brackets portion works out to be 4, and the curve brackets portion works out to be negative 8. That is 4/-8=-1/2, without calculator.

super simple lets start with the first part: 4- 3*3 is -5. -5 - - 9 is the same as saying -5 + 9 which is 4. Now the second part: 1 -3 is -2 and -2^3 is -8. Final part solve: 4/-8 is -1/2.
