Swingvision stats subjectively feel so freaking off regularly for service speeds, makes me have a lot less confidence in all of its speed readings. Both Chris and Mark had occasional bombs and Swing vision would say something like 51 mph.

Is the AI messing around with the audio synchronization? It seems the sound goes progressively out of sync after one minute or so, to become very prominent at ca. 17:00. Shortly after 18:00, after a little click in the audio track, it seems to be fixed again.

To some extent you could eliminate this from the video by making the edits occur earlier right after the point. This is assuming Mark already pads one or two seconds in the SwingVision settings.

@@aleksandrskublinskis4787 On what planet? The USTA puts out videos as to what strokes should look like for each ranking and it is accompanied by a description of what relative shot and strategic capabilities should be. Trust me, 50-70 MPH bounding 1st serves with no placement are 3.5-4.0 at best. Inability to consistently sustain a rally is 3.5-4.0 at best. Absolutely no volley capabilities whatsoever is 3.5 at best. I could go on for 15 minutes but what's the point. Neither one of these players are close to what they claim to be. I don't want to be a jerk but at some point reality has to step in. I can guarantee you, these guys play in a very weak area of the country ($100 says it's someplace up north where everybody claims to be 5.0's) and are computer rated because of it -OR- they are self rated. There's no way a pro rated either one of these players. As an FYI I'm in Florida. Teaching pros are typically rated 4.0-4.5. Recent D1 college grads, 5.0 MAYBE 5.5. A super easy way to find out what their actual skill level is would be to find out what the results are when they get into regional play if they play USTA tournaments. You can say you are a 7.0 all you want to but if you're getting your ass kicked 6-0,6-0 in every tournament you enter, most likely, you're not. Again, I don't wanna come off as a jerk but, let's be serious. That might be what their "rating" is but that clearly isn't what their actual skill level is.

@@ayokay123 If you have ever filmed yourself playing a match you would understand why he uses the smartwatch to cut each point with swing vision. It takes 6+ hours to edit full matches without using technology to help speed it up, and not everyone has that time to slightly make it less annoying to watch him do that each point.
@melfox2152 жыл бұрын
@@1gecky123 Totally agree. I am using VSDC video Editor that is a freeware and has some functions, but editing a whole tennis match takes so much time. Cutting every single point takes a few hours. Then adding the scoreboard and maybe some comments takes even more time. And it looks pretty self made on my intended small channel. As Mark is a professional IT guy and connected to Essential Tennis his standards are way higher. :) I like the quality of these match play videos. Probably, there should be a third guy pushing the scoreboard button on a cell phone or smart watch. Doing that by himself between any points probably destroys his focus on the game. Apart from that, I like the measurement of stroke speed and the scoreboard.
