Great options! When I see a KZbinr with only hands I feel closer to them. They're like me - real card makers.

TFS! Would you share spraying your scan n cut mats, including the prep of the mat?

Tape on the sides doesn't work really at all. It doesn't stop paint squeezing and squishing underneath the stencil.

Hi, I have used tombow glue, the one with the green cap, dabbed it in the stencil and let it dry tacky. Works well.

Any ideas for a spray painted surface? Would this work?

I find that when I have my paper on a gel plate and put the stencil that is bigger than my paper on it, that the gel plate holds the stencil well. How have you not replaced your scan n cut mat? After a few years, almost all the numbers were worn off of 1 side, and it started cutting outside of the 12x12 cutting part. I assumed there were registration things in those numbers, and when they rubbed off my machine didn't know what to do. I replaced my mat.

I love your stencil tip! That’s brilliant 🙂. I don’t know....maybe I lucked out and don’t use my machine as much as you use yours.

@@Betsiemorris I make cards for my church, my mom's church, the USO, family and friends. I use my scan n cut in weird ways. I sometimes cut black paper with a die. I put that on my copier. I scan the copy in. At this point I can easily get multiples on a 12x12 paper, and save it. Same goes for any smaller size. When you are making 95 cards this is REALLY helpful! I don't sell cards.

Thank you ! I literally just 10mins ago learned of pixie spray & was instantly like , I have to have some as this will make using my stencils so easy! Searched everywhere & can not find it in the uk in stock anywhere. So for some reason I was having a moment of well now I can’t use them until I can find some , not sure why as a few minutes earlier I was fine & just so happy to have bought & received a nice selection of stencils ! So thank you again as I found your video & crisis over, I am now laughing at myself ! 🤣😂 from Kirsty

What do you think about the ELMER's spray adhesive being used for stencils?
@Betsiemorris3 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried that, but I’m going too! If it’s permanent or leaves a sticky residue hard to remove with soapy water it might be troublesome.
@aaronfuksa20473 жыл бұрын
It sucks sometimes. On Smooth painted surfaces it will leave residue the longer it sits, especial the more you use it, or while under the sun. It will pull up on fresh paint. You can use it, such as on a wood, or metal, but you would be happier with something else. You can stick it down, but never will it be 100% bleed proof with out use of a filler like paintable caulk, or maybe mod podge.
