I decoupage, and decorated, and old Bible that my dog had chewed up. It spent many many years without a cover. It was kind of gnarly looking, but using some of the methods that I learned from watching your channel, and some of the embellishments that I learned from watching you, it looks beautiful! I am so in love with my Bible again!!!

Thanks for the tip regarding the paint on the edge of the paper. It’s that sort of thing that changes the appearance of something from amateur to artist. The vase/vine piece looks like something you might see in the jungle back in the day when royals would take a huge number of people on their safaris and insist their meal be as they had it at home. Anyway… these are great, as usual. As for the people who question why you do something a certain way I wonder if they are familiar with the term‘artistic license.”
