Thank you for this comment. I don’t remember which artist I first heard say she had been criticized for her nails, it wasn’t Brandi. I was completely shocked. I don’t care what anyone’s nails look like. I’m here to learn and after hippity hopping around KZbin for years I found this channel where I have learned a lot. 🩵💙

People can be trolls. Block them if they make nasty comments. Nobody has time for that nonsense. I have 3 kids, work on a small farm, garden, and craft. At this point, I'm lucky I have nails at all. Nobody who matters gives a crap what your nails look like. ❤

I'm here to keep it real, folks..... I'm a 63 year young artist and crafter that watches a shit-ton of DIY vids and honestly, Brandi - I have to admit, you're my "craft crush." I can't even begin to list the other DIY crafters that I have to stop watching in the middle of a video because I can't take the sound of their voice one minute longer. Their intonation and how they narrate their videos drive me up a faux finished wall. Listening to you, your voice, your delivery, etc. is pure pleasure - and the fact that your humor is the same as mine makes you #1 in my book. (I literally stopped watching someone's vid last night because of her voice/narration..... and I really wanted to see what her finished product was going to look like.) I watch your videos multiple times and get all happy and glassy eyed when I see that you have a new one out. Oh, and fingernails, schmingernails..... Love, Rhonda

Thanks for another great tutorial, Brandi. You have saved me a lot of pain trying out some of the recipes I've seen on You Tube. You measure by eye, which is what I usually do, so I was able to follow along without worry. By the way, if that paint lid had gone flying from my hands, I guarantee you it would have landed 'butter side down' in the middle of a rug, or with my usual luck, on top of my very dark grey cat! Then life would get very hairy indeed as she'd be all over the place in a panic, trying to rub the gunk off on everything and anything she could, and I'd be right behind her trying to catch her before everything in the house was covered! I kid you not, this has happened!

Hi Brandi, I love your videos and I appreciate your efforts. I don’t know why anyone thinks they have any business criticizing anything about your appearance. I am interest in what you have to share with us and teach us, not your manicure unless that is what you want to focus on. I will say that your warmth, humor, and inner beauty shines through on every vid. Don’t worry about the criticism of your nails, you’re just fine and the critics are being inappropriate.

Hi Brandi! Thanks for demonstrating the various types of texture methods with paint, it's very helpful. I agree that it's hard to use precise measurements not only because the thickness depends on what you're making but also humidity and temperature variations change the amount of product used to create textures. Again, thank you for your tutorials, I love to watch them and enjoy your sense of humor and language choices! Keep on being you!! 😄😄😄
