Hey man! Thanks so much for this. We are a married musician couple trying to get our music off the ground for years now. Thinking of joining the course, just had a few questions beforehand! What do you recommend when we are currently juggling: 1. A day job to make ends meet 2.Writing, producing, and mixing ALL our own music from scratch (this takes LOTS of studio time) 3. Posting consistent content to keep growing on social media (trying to do this every day which also takes lots of time) 4. Marketing the music (and all the emails, sales, etc that go into that) 5. AND being parents On top of parenting and day jobs, trying to find this balance / flow has been difficult. When we focus on cranking out content or jumping on social media trends to engage our audience more, our actual songwriting, production and studio time suffers. When we focus on songwriting and studio time, our content and ability to jump on trends to grow online etc seems to suffer. We've tried allowing the content to BE our studio time, but that hasn't seemed to get us a lot of views and traction as much as jumping on trending things has. Our goal for years has been to make music our main career and source of income,! So we're willing to join your course and learn!! Going live while listening to beats work. It is very important. My biggest song i made in 30 minutes on a water fast. Its called unappreciated. But before i made the song i was looking at beats on ig live. When that instrumental came on i came up with a melody. I hopped off, saved the live and literally 30 minutes later i realased the snippet. Money man is one artist who shows the process of him making songs and it makes his supporters more in tuned

Making a song takes no longer than making a 15 mins social media video. Either you want to post everyday or you don’t.

Literally same. A better way to approach that idea tho (because we can’t make full songs in 15 minutes) is to continue making songs and stockpile them until you have say 6-12 months worth of content, then release a song every *week and while that’s happening, keep making music. That way you can make your quality songs and still upload consistently. Don’t prioritize it over the music tho, longevity is something skipped over often.
