I'm still using stock props. I think I'm going to try a three blade and see how it feels. Nice video. Thanks.

Worth a try

Hi thanks for this review. Ok so do you tell in the video you dont see anything wrong with the 4 blade ones. But it's actually better? And in what way theyre better then the stock? Also the most important for me, do you think they are safer then the stock ones? I ask this because one just exploded making a yaw turn on my stock avata (on the 6 flight!). Thanks mate!

The stress points with more blades is reduced the more blades that turn. The 5 and up just have a shorter life. They also spin at higher rpm’s. I have not had a prop failure yet. Just inspect your props before ea h flight as a rule.

@@DadRandom thanks mate. Appart from the durability, do you think the Performance is better? Thanks

Thanks for the test. I’m testing these as well soon.

I really like the MAS 4 bladed over the stock props. Although it is not any quieter, it produces somewhat of a lower pitch, so it may sound less annoying. I also get about 1-2 extra minutes of flying, and there is the befit of easier access to the USB port. Also, it does have the cool factor 😉

I still have my props on, fly with them now

Thank you for the review and honest opinion. I have decided to buy 3 & 4 blades and try them both out and keep either as spares. I was here to see if they were both terrible, seems they do the job and i need some of that colour in my life :)

Nice! I have only flown the 4 bladed, and agree with you. The tolerance is quite small, compared to the OEM props, so any slight deviation of the frame can cause issues... so, don't crash! Lol

on the avata any prop will break if you crash a bit hard. A small bump, you will be okay but anything hard.. I guess it flexes the guard and breaks the prop.

Got the 3 blade MAS and one of them was rubbing at installation. Eventually after the first flight it shaved itself down but I’m probably gonna replace them all soon.

Ive broken three sets of master airSCREWED on the DJI FPV and wont be buying their chit anytime soon. FPJ ones shattered too easy

Horrible. You should watch successful youtubers and do what they do.

+@mlentsch Thanks Mike, glad you took the time to offer such intellectual feedback. The truth is, aftermarket props do nothing. So other than that, it’s pretty simple. Anyone saying anything else is blowing smoke through their A$$. You can use this anyway you want. I buy and test thousands of dollars in gear every year. If you want overblown crap, to help you justify a poor purchase, go right ahead. Weight v Thrust. Avata is too heavy and lacks the motor thrust to do anything else. Props make little difference. If you add larger motors, and increase the props to 3-3.5 you will get better flight performance.
