It’s very frustrating for long time viewers. It’s basically a third of the video at this point. I enjoy the content and have learned a lot so I’ll keep watching. I get that sponsors are part of their business model but I wonder if it’s doing harm to the average view duration. I skip it every time so it only gets 66% watch from me instead of 100% I bet I’m not the only one.

regarding level 3; how to remove the black background with also a vid but then blurred?

To make it blurred, make the mirror layer obtain a blur effect (Gaussian blur recommended) As for removing the black background... the way this is setup the black background is actually transparent. Just put something else in the layer under it and it should work fine.
