A tip for anyone going to a gas station that's either desolated or it's dark out; always lock the doors when you're not in your car. If you come back, check the inside to see if anyone is there. I was able to catch someone waiting by the passenger side door waiting to pounce into my car the moment I unlocked the doors simply because my mate had experienced something worse. Stay safe out there.

Story 4: girl idk how you’re so sheltered and naive. You did every single thing wrong and only continued further to put ur life at risk. You continue to be like this and you’re gonna continue to be in these situations. You need to learn to be smarter about these situations. This is not a safe world. When it comes to crazy people you can’t act reckless like that they don’t care. You either gotta go crazier or watch yourself & play it safe. Which you didn’t do.

That last story was horrifying. I personally wouldn't have risked my life for $6, but she might've needed it for a meal. There's also a chance she didnt wanna seem weak and vulnerable to the guy. If she didn't have a cell phone on her, she should've asked to use the landline inside. I know the employee didn't speak English, but simple hand gestures would've gotten the point across. The last person was super naive. It doesn’t matter if the cashier couldn’t speak English, he can still read body language and most likely saw that “Julia” was uncomfortable with the stranger, but he either didn’t want to get involved or didn’t care. They’re probably not paid enough to play security anyway so what she should’ve done instead was stay in the store and call the police if she couldn’t handle it herself and felt like her safety/life was in danger. It’s their job to deal with these types of situations. The guy in story two simply didn’t lock his door. I don’t know if he forgot or didn’t feel the need to, but everyone should know that you don’t leave your car doors unlocked when it’s unattended.

You know, as time goes on, most KZbinrs either slowly stop posting as often/at all, or the quality of their content goes down so much (ads, clickbait, no new material) that it becomes unwatchable. Mr. Nightmare truly is the diamond in the rough. Thank you for the videos good sir!
@MidnightSonnet
@MidnightSonnet Жыл бұрын
I can't blame KZbinrs for their upload schedules, ads, etc, because it's a full time job with a lot of burnout. It's a very stressful job with no PTO, vacation pay, sick days, etc. If you wanna make money, you have to upload consistently in order to keep up with the strict algorithm. Mr Nightmare even stated awhile back that he needed to take a break from KZbin for his mental health. Since his return, he only uploads once a week, if even that. Hopefully he has supplemental income on the side. I always recommend looking at it from the side of the creator instead of the viewer. Being a content creator can be a rewarding career, but it takes a lot of time, energy, money, and stress to become famous enough to make a decent living. Ads and sponsorships help with that, so even though they're annoying, always remember how necessary they are for the creators you love so much.
@halfbakedproductions7887
@halfbakedproductions7887 Жыл бұрын
@@MidnightSonnet Honestly, for the amount of time and effort required to make a proper living on KZbin? That's a hell of a lot. There is no way I could match my current salaried income from my real job by simply putting stuff online, even if I wanted to. I have no real creativity and can't think of anything truly unique. For these people it is literally a full time job because of the effort involved - and if you burn out, give up, or people stop watching? Then what? Do you have any other skills to get a 'real' job?
@MidnightSonnet
@MidnightSonnet Жыл бұрын
@@halfbakedproductions7887 that's my point. Being a KZbinr isn't for everyone, especially for those who don't have much creativity or drive to put themselves out there for the whole world. Introverts have an especially hard time having a massive following. You're honestly lucky to have a salaried job. That's hard to come by these days. A lot of KZbinrs who aren't big usually have a regular job on the side to make ends meet. So even if they burn out and quit, they have a cushion. It's the bigger KZbinrs with thousands of subs that have to keep up the grind in order to keep the income rolling in. Granted the same can be said about any job. Gotta work to make money.

Yet she had no problem asking the man for her six dollars, or the other man to risk his life to look for where the "bad" man might be hiding, not knowing if he was armed or not. Funny how that works, isn't it? Rude when the person isn't deemed someone the woman is interested in, but when we need something from the man, we suddenly are friendly. And you wonder why men think we are shallow b!tches? Socially awkward people need to interact, too. How else do you meet people if you don't talk to them? For every (real or made up nightmare story) there are hundreds more normal men out there who aren't harming women. I say this as a victim of longterm CSA and r@pe. I was also almost strangled to death at 17 yrs old. Men are victimized by other men far more than women are victimized by men, statistically speaking, when it comes to violent crimes. Yet, they don't come into the comments section and say things like, "see, this is why we don't talk to other guys". It's silly and immature. It's also proven to be false when you see women talking to men all the time when they want to. What you really mean is that women don't talk to men that they find creepy or unattractive. Fact. Ted Bundy had zero issues finding victims.

Idk how it works in America, but I am an Australian bartender, so the first story had me confused and a little pissed. Why are they serving alcohol to a man who is "clearly hammered" at a petrol station where he will 99% of the time be driving away from?

I'm an American and former bartender myself. Can't speak for all states and laws, but calling BS on that story. Most states/places I've been actually stop serving alcohol at specific times. If they were in a huge city (Chicago, Vegas, NYC) I'd get it cuz everything is 24/7. But getting alcohol at 2am in Podunk Nowheresville? I just don't buy it.
