I like the adventure of this. Lots of beautiful scenery and lots of water. Wow! Water in my area is hard to find sometimes. Nice camp.

Good to know sir thanks, my style seems to be a lot like yours, I bring what I want to be comfortable rather than little as possible.

Good video. Getting ready to start solo hiking. I also have the salida 2 tent. Can't believe the value/quality/weight that it offers.

I like the adventure too. I've been watching for winter storms to go out in. Unfortunately, we only had one real good one. So...I got to use my snowshoes exactly once. What a drag. haha

I think I've only used my snowshoes once, too, this year. My heart was in it, though, all the wet didn't thrill me this year. Getting wimpy, I think :o) You keep at 'er.

yeah it's pretty cool, closest place to my house where I can backpack in, about 3 hours away.

The vernacular which is endemic to the area prefers 'crick'. Sadly, it is fading with time and culture.

josephmars20 It lubricates the saw blade, not totally necessary but it makes cutting wood easier.
