The grave on Baldy is my great grandfather Arthur Gerald Ibbitson, my Grandfather John Ibbitson also has a memorial up there. Surreal seeing footage of it now when the last time I was there was in 2004 when I was 5 years old. Amazing video, thank you.

Hey Shaun, Loved the video! But while I was watching and you guys were in Manson Creek I noticed a piece of Old Machinery on the ground with Esco markings on it. I happen to work for a company that I have to place orders through Esco all the time, I sent my contacts a picture of it and they we able to find old records of the purchase back in 1945. It's called a Dragline Bucket and was sold to a company called Intermountain. Here's what Esco emailed me... Hi Jeff, To my surprise the Product Group was able to find some information on this one. That is a 3/4YD dragline bucket that we sold to a company called Intermountain in 1945. Nice little “Treasure Hunt” for the day. Paul Just thought that was pretty cool!! Thanks again for the Video! The baldy trail is close to fuel and parts. I just watched a video of the baldy challenge. They broke made a cell call looking for parts and a teen ran to the Main road went got a used part went home got 4 wheeler hauled it to trail head and they fixed it and got out. So it’s not that dangerous.

I get it that you have to evolve in order to keep growing your audience and multi-day trips are expensive, but longer-format adventures in our own back yard where the amazing scenery and challenging trails take center stage is my favorite type of content from you for sure. Plus when you stay closer to home @Braun4x4BC can come along! By the looks of the comments he is a popular character on your channel. He and his budget-friendly rigs are so relatable. The Trail Destroyer is super-nice but most people will never get close to having anything like that, but Braun's trucks are something that people feel is attainable for them. Great video as always,! I feel an extra connection with this episode becouse I visited Manson creek in the 80's as a kid. We visited my uncle and his family. His name was Bill Payne the self declared mayor of Manson creek! The family ran the General store that had a post office and an old school visible gas pump similar to what is in Trout lake. They also ran a restaurant and rented rooms. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and keep the awesome videos coming!

Back in the 90s when CJCI Prince George still had an AM signal, we used to read messages for Manson Creek and Germansen Landing a couple times a day. We were the only means of passing information in those days. Some of the oddest and most cryptic stuff. To this day I still wonder what they meant when they said, "The penguins are ready for pickup". An epic journey and thanks for taking us along!

This is one of my favorite vids so far. The tough adventure but mostly because of the rigs. Some of my favs of all time: Old 4Runner - LJ unli - Taco and Yota truck and most of all that 90s Bronco! I had a 94 and your buddy Rocco’s Bronco killed it practically stock. Love to see these old cheaper rigs getting through it. Warms my old off-road heart. There are many trails up North from the days of the gold rush. Men would walk with packs as big and heavier than they were for weeks between settlements., carrying everything they would need that they couldn’t shoot or make. Amazing people. I used to know an old guy who thought nothing of an overland walk between Mayo and Dawson City and did it a few times a year. And I was in a mining camp in a warm tent being fed every day and miserable!

I enjoyed this one, more like your earlier videos with a good soundtrack, good story and great scenery. Only criticism I have is of the desaturating filter you seem to be using, the colours aren’t as natural and rich and the exposure is a little blown out, but this seems to be popular with film makers currently. Other than that, some great TSTN content 👍

I have had many jeeps, Toyotas and 4x4 trucks. But when the tough got tougher in the WV mountains. My full size Bronco was the best all around climber, mudder and digger.
