have you visited the museum? as a local i know our state is nothing to shout about but the borneo cultures museum is definitely worth a visit

Didn't manage to visit, but definitely on our list for the next trip! It looks amazing from the outside

"Nothing to shout about"? this is disappointing to hear coming from a local, Sarawak is a hidden gem which has many spots where outsider can explore

16:06 That's not durian, my dude. That's coconut.😅 Anyway, welcome back to Kuching. Sorry for the late welcome, I just saw this in my YT recommendation.

You guys can try Kek Lapis Mama Su which is one of my favourite place to buy kueh lapis at. It has different price range and you can try testers as well. Its located at the waterfront as well.

Durian 😬 I can't even stand the smell of it and you say it's something fermented. My goodness! 😂 No way!

The smell changes when it's fermented, pretty interesting! Initially we were pretty hesitant too haha.

Not everyone is comfortable with family staying in their own house

I would do that too if I was visiting. I don't like to inconvenience people and would feel more comfortable having my own space.
