Having had a best doggie friend for 14 years and then he was killed. I understand what you are going through. He was a beagle and his name was Trapper. I still miss him like crazy and talk about him. The eggs in Europe are not refrigerated because unlike in the US, they are _not_ washed. As such, they retain a natural protective barrier which helps prevent spoiling. Glad to see you back. So sorry about Blue.

I have prayed everyday that God will help you thru this loss. My search thru the Bible, knowing we will see our loved ones, gave a foggy reference to the pets we formed a close attachment. But then it says that when heaven is placed on Earth, we will be loved and love one another. I can't see how Heaven can be just us and God without our pets. So I believe we will not only see our pets but will live forever with them by our side again. So I can't wait until I see Blu and you Maria together again, I'll hug you both.

My condolences, Ria. Blue was special. I lost my beloved Duece, a tri- color Cavalier Spaniel. He was only 8 years old and had heart problems. Like you I did everything I could to keep him healthy. I used to joke that I spent more money on his Vet bills and care than I did on my own self care. But, it was so worth it. My point is, in my experience, his sudden death made me question so many things. My grief was different than the grief I experienced when my 94 year old Dad died. I had to ponder this, etc., etc. I mourned for 3 years. It's now 4 years later and I don't cry everytime I think about him...kissing his wet little nose and having by my side. You grieve Blue for as long as it takes. Your grief is honoring his memory. My late father said after losing his dog, "They just don't live long enough." (Dads don't publicly cry. They make profound statements. 😢) I enjoys your KZbin channel. Hang in there, girl. Time takes time. RIP Blue. You were a good dog.

Maria, I found your channel when I was grieving my companion Bella. Bella is an 11 year old mastiff/shepard who was my best and only companion for 10 years. She passsed on November 13, 2023 and my life crashed down on me. I sobbed while watching your videos and still sometimes do. Time will never make this feel better, but it will help. Keep reaching out for support and keep allowing yourself to grieve. On June 12, 2024 I brought home a new friend named Huckleberry. He has brought so much joy and companionship back into my life. Maria, I had a German Shepherd, I lost him at two years old suddenly. I grieved for him for over a year! It would just hit me. Don’t feel bad for crying over your child! I did get another pup soon after and it did help me greatly. Just know, Blue is in Heaven waiting on you, and the day you hit the golden gates, he will be standing there! Some people don’t understand how much of a loss you feel when a pet passes away. But you will learn to live your life around the grief. Years from now sometimes you will still find yourself in tears but it will be mostly remembering all the happy memories you made. As for Ireland, I’m from Northern Ireland and live near Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway. Sometimes we don’t appreciate the beauty on our doorstep. Hope you have a great time.

The USA is one of the only counties that requires eggs to be washed and then they must be refrigerated. When a hen lays and egg a clear coating called the "bloom" naturally seals the egg from outside contaminates, therefore they do not need to be washed and can be keep in a cool pantry for up to 4- 6 months without spoiling! Once washed, the bloom no longer keeps the egg safe and must be refrigerated. Your trivial knowledge tip for the day from a former chicken farmer...bock bock

Maria, I miss your videos but as soon as i saw your new one I immediately started crying because i knew Blue would not be there. But...... right after i stopped crying i realized he was there. He will always be there with you and when we watch your videos he will be there with us too. I know exactly what you are going through and please trust me, it will get easier to move on. You will NEVER forget him. But you WILL always remember the good times, and that will allow you to live life again. You will tell stories, you lll cry, you'll laugh. Maria , lean on your friends and family. And please dont forget about your new addition to your family. She is hurting too and she is missing Blue as well.

Ria, I'm heartbroken for your loss. I lost my soul dog four years ago April and time has helped but it's been one of the most difficult emotional rollercoasters of my life. Blue is with you in spirit and in your heart. It will get easier. That little girl will help so much. You were an amazing mom to Blue and he never knew a day without your love.
