I live in Honolulu, and for those of us who live right by where most of them go off - it's AWFUL. Fireworks are neat for 20-30 minutes, but in Honolulu it's literally 8+ hours of continuous extremely loud booms in every direction. For animals and people with anxiety, it's absolutely terrible. I couldn't sleep that night because my heart was pounding and had a severe migraine the next day. My husband and I spent that evening comforting our terrified dog and cleaning up his diarrhea, because he refused to go outside. If you don't live here, you have absolutely no idea how insane the fireworks really are here. It's absolutely out of control.

Fireworks enforce themselves. These people are responsible for the massive damages to the home and the deaths and severe injuries of people they love. This will give them nightmares for years and will affect them for the rest of their lives. There is the possibility that this may not be covered by their homeowner's policy and they will probably be bankrupted by the legal fees they will have to pay to defend themselves in criminal court then in the law suits that are sure to follow.
