I've been waiting 3 years.....I'm literally dying and they (govt) act like I'm just lazy. I have 4 doctors backing my disability. I don't know what to do anymore. I am now at the point of calling Disability Determination Services after EVERY doc appointment. My lawyer sucks. He's greedy and I think he is just delaying my case on purpose. Please GOD allow them to approve me for my 8yr old son's sake. If something happens to me at least he will have money if they approve me. Please pray for me if you have read this......

You sound just like me and my situations are very similar my lawyers never contact me at my reconsideration level the DDS had the Doctor's backwards they sent letters to the wrong medical centers with the right Doctors names so I called the DDS and said after a decision they can't change it so I would have to wait on a hearing but wouldn't tell me what records they have

Hi. I had a hearing in July. The judge said my physical speaks for itself. I just had my mental CE exam last week. She said I should know within a month.

What are chances of a lawyer hiring a mental health case for ssi? I got denied back 2020. Of course.
@TheDisabilityDigest5 ай бұрын
I understand that you're going through a challenging time, and I'm here to help. The chances of a lawyer taking on a mental health case for SSI can depend on various factors, including the specifics of your case, the evidence available, and the lawyer's expertise in mental health cases. If you've been denied, it's crucial not to lose hope. Watch our video to learn more about mental health cases getting approved: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oICsqICHnpVorq8.

I unfortunately hired a legal firm that didn’t explain things to me and did not recommend the better option before my SSI court hearing.

I'm going to rant a little bit. & I understand that the SS system is the way it is because we as humans have abused it for years and years and years. HOWEVER, I applied in 2019. It's closer to 2023 than 2022 right now. My case is for mental disabilities surround PTSD & the ripple effect of diagnosis' that have followed. I had a mental evaluation for June that was cancelled because they had sufficient evidence. Now I've got a physical exam, remember this is for my mental health, in September. Now I have been diagnosed with idiopathichypersomnia which is in the same group as narcolepsy since then, however it's not the main factor in why I can't work. I'm being told to "be careful" "watch myself" because the doctor is going to TRY TO TRICK ME...........what. the. Actual. So on top of being stressed anxious nervous all the things that I'll already be now I'm going to have to be FEARFUL?! It's insane to me. One last thing, the appointment paperwork that I have to bring with me to the appointment says "ALLEGATIONS:" And then lists some not all but some of my aliments. HOW??????? ITS ALL DIAGNOSED BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS since I witnessed a murder. H o w. My doctors diagnosis' are simply allegations?! Makes zero sense. I'm ready for this hell with disability to end. 💔

I understand sweetie. I'm in the same boat. PTSD, CKD(chronic kidney disease, stage 3), Rheumatoid arthritis. They are still giving me the "shaft". I am so tired of waiting. I'm constantly broke, constantly on edge, constantly dealing with my demons...... you know I'm sure. No sleep, nightmares, flashbacks, night sweats, you know......crippling arthritis in my feet and hands..... but I guess they think I should go to work 2 days and call in for a week after and somehow keep my job and pay my bills? Crazy......
