One thing I learn from a non-profit Law Firm is that people on Social Security have protected income! If you're in debt that you cannot pay, you can stop making the payments and no one can take money from you through the courts.. That's one way to get ahead if you're really suffering financially!

Also i found an RX from a doctor after suffering a tragedy in 08. He said that basically i cant work and it is an ongoing issue. Obviously i did work again and it was hard but does this have any weight? Wonder if i could have applied back then? At this time ive already worked almost 40 years.
@TheDisabilityDigest22 сағат бұрын
Your doctor's prescription from 2008 could potentially support your case, but the Social Security Administration will primarily focus on your current ability to work and recent medical records. It's hard to say if you could have applied back then, but the key is to show how your condition currently limits your work ability. For more guidance, consider our Disability Digest membership's comprehensive course on disability approval: bit.ly/48wwOqV.

Fibromyalgia with IBS. Another you tube lawyer says emphasize the IBS, more. I’m wondering why? Both are debilitating in the work place.
@DebLindley-xg8gz2 күн бұрын
Because FMS is still even hard for some Dr's. to get on board with. It's even harder for some Judge's to believe that it's real and can be as debilitating to someone as it can. It so depends on your age, also. The length of time and how good your documentation is and test results is key. Wishing you the best 👌 IBS would definitely be focused on more in the workplace, I eventually had to work from home d/t that plus multiple other health problems before finally going on SSDI fully 15 years ago.

@TheDisabilityDigestКүн бұрын
It's understandable to feel conflicted about which condition to emphasize. Both fibromyalgia and IBS can be equally debilitating, but some lawyers might suggest focusing more on IBS because it can be more visible or relatable in certain legal contexts. IBS often leads to frequent, urgent symptoms, which can be harder to ignore in a workplace setting. That said, it's important to highlight both conditions if they both significantly affect your ability to work. A comprehensive approach that explains how each condition impacts your daily life and job performance could be the most effective.

@TheDisabilityDigest I'm just hoping for the disabled people who fall in love with another person won't be punished for doing so by their checks being reduced and possibly losing all benefits, which is absurd in the first place every one should have the right to be married if they so choose. And for the government to say that if a disabled person married a working person they could only make a pre-determind amount or they would lose their checks. People in disability already don't get enough, in a sense, and then would be punished further if they were to marry? Like it's crazy. So I'm just hoping and praying that the bill is passed into law to help out disabled people who want love, without the punishments.
