You and your creations are gorgeous!!! Our Christmas tradition as a family involves looking at photos and this year we are replacing old albums with new ones. We also celebrate Kwanzaa simultaneously giving thanks and honor to God and the ancestors who paved the way for us. I Corinthians 13:4-8 is my favorite. It is the most complete definition of love I have read.

I remembered being in my grandmother's kitchen helping her make all the different pasta for Christmas dinner. We would be in there for days but the best part was putting everything together. On Christmas day there would be so much family you could feel the love

Good morning Olivia. You look very nice in your pretty dress. These are all very elegant DIYs. I have been collecting Christmas tree decorations for over 30 years and I have a ton of elegant and good quality ornaments. I don’t have the space in this retirement home that I had for those many years ago. I began doing a winter wonderland theme about five years ago and all of my other decor is packed away in my basement. I keep thinking that I’ll sell it all because my daughter in-laws will not use it. I may give some to my nieces. Most of my families not decorate with elegance. I was thinking that a bow and some twigs and berries would look nice on your cardboard cutouts. I was surprised that you had left them without it. 😉 I love the Bible verse John 3:16. Your decorations are absolutely beautiful. I love the pink. My favorite verse is I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. As far as traditions go. For our family dinner I am always in charge of the spaghetti salad from our grandma’s recipe and my brother is in charge of making our mom’s oyster dressing. Just being together is the best.

I totally totally love your pastel pink, your tree and your wreath were absolutely totally show stoppers!! as far as the pink and white cardboard squares. That’s the first thing I’ve ever seen you do that I was not a fan of. I’m sure many many people love them, but for me it didn’t didn’t do it. Years and years ago, when my daughter was very little, she asked my grandmother why Jesus didn't get a birthday cake. Well, my grandmother immediately went out and got a cake mix and made Jesus a birthday cake. We all sang Happy Birthday to Jesus at Christmas Dinner. All these years later, my daugther is grown and has daughters. We still make Jesus a birthday cake and sing happy birthday to HIM !!!! He is the source of LOVE! He is LOVE

It's so awesome that someone else is decorating empty boxes for decorating, I've been doing that for ages 🎁🎄. My husband always makes fun of me for doing that. I keep asking him, what does he think the stores do. As I said I also use empty boxes, wrap them up, and put them under the tree. Although mine are never as beautiful as yours. I hope my garment in heaven is pastel pink. 😂 The verse I go to when someone hurts me is Ephesians 6:12. His Word says we do not wrestling against flesh, but against the rulers of darkness, meaning satan. When I think of this, it makes me love that person who wronged me more and pray harder for them.
