For my hair mask I use 2 egg yolks, 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil, 1/2 tablespoon sweet almond oil, and 1/2 tablespoon honey. I gently brush out my hair before and then dampen it and then apply the mask, tips to roots (making sure the tips get extra attention and product). I let it sit for 15-30 minutes before I wash it out in COLD water and use a gentle shampoo (I like baby shampoo) and a tiny tiny bit of conditioner art the ends only. Then I air dry my hair and brush my hair out again before I turn my hair over and gently massage my scalp for 5 minutes! I've done this twice a week for 2 months and my hair has grown so much and looks and feels so healthy! I never use heat on my hair or put it up in super tight pony tails!!

For me I have switch between Tumerick,olive oil,coconut oil;which help lessen inflammation of the scalp and gets rid of dandruff. I am now using coconut oil, avocado, olive oil honey and green tea leaf mixture. I let that sit overnight in a jar so the green tea is mixed in well. Then I wash in all out it’s a chamomile and green tea water that has been seeping over night . This helps me get a shiny, moisturize hair. I don’t do this hair mask often because it’s a lot of protein so I alternate between this mixture and using regular Cantu conditioner and leave in conditioner . But in the winter both of these mixtures are kickass for your hair

Can hair masks replace deep conditioners?
@MelissaDenise8 жыл бұрын
Honestly I go back and forth with this. I think theres a VERY thin line between the 2. Personally my hair appreciates a mask over store bought deep conditioners. But I still have days that I love my deep con so my solution is I just flip flop between the 2. One week I'll do one and the next week the other. I know its probably annoying for me to say 'just pay attention to what your hair likes'....bc i know sometimes you have just no clue. It's a really good question tho...I'll pay closer attention to my hair & do a little more research & get back to you for sure (either here or a future video)!! xox

Hi there. Ocassional desperate-for-a -better-hair kinda viewer here! x') I liked the 2nd mask too much. Avocado is great for the hair and to restore the natural balance and oils in it but if i'd ask you If i should do the 2nd mask and add a little bit of coconut milk aswell, would you recommend? I have long dry hair 'cause all the years i used my hair straightner and not having exaclty any type of concern with the hair besides finding the most natural conditioner, mask and shampoo i could (i'm a long hair boy since age 13 - i'm 26 - ) and so wouldn't it be good to mix all those to try and restore some of the texture and brightness my hair once had? ' Thanks for the video but i would also like to see this kind of video on a version without any animal products. Would be amazing aswell, to have a better look and not to promote the harm of our furry companions in the process. ;) Peace!
