I want to start wearing the hijab I have always found them very beautiful. I also considered converting to Islam and have been educating myself on it. @@zebrasbean2385 I’m polish orthodox Catholic, orthodox is similar to Catholicism as they are both the oldest practices of christianisme. Basically = not altered and intertwined heavily with different cultures. Much more colourful and strict than the western Christian practices❤

the 1st one is properly called Al-Amira. The second one is called Khimar. The third one is hers, and the 4th one is called Shayla.

Fun fact that u probably already know but christians veil and it such a beautiful thing both Muslims and Christians have. You can consider doing this is a veil unless there's a specific way of veiling idk

videos like these are genuinely really helpful resources for a lot of people! i'm a writer and i have a character who wears a hijab, but i soon realised i didn't know the more mundane details of how they wore it/put it on/took it off when writing about their morning & afternoon routines - this video really helped me pick something they'd wear and get a sense of what (for example) getting home in the afternoon would be like for them. i'm a big stickler for realism & getting cultural stuff accurate, so thank you so much for this!

Instead of using a pin on the crown of your head to hold the hijab in place try using fashion tape or even double sided tape, it gives a very seamless look, last all day and doesn’t ruin your hijab.
