Awesome! Especially because you can use the crop farm to grow food for the cows, and the bamboo farm to produce fuel to cook the steak with, composting anything else into bonemeal, to help with producing the glowberries.

I love the simplicity and usefulness of these farms. I also love how you take both Bedrock and Java into account. As a Bedrocker, I've definitely had to adapt some Java farms! On that topic, the cow crammer farm won't work at all on Bedrock unless they've changed the mechanics since I last looked.

These are great farms to have scattered around a landscape as opposed to being purely in the spawn chunk region. If you want to expand the bamboo farm, instead of a basic rail, run a powered rail with a hopper minecart, and maybe add a few extra hoppers for the collection system. This farm is good for spawn chunks but can serve in outlying areas quite well too. Being a microfarm it really can save lots of space too. With proper scaling you could even tie this in with a supersmelter as a sustainable fuel source.
@monophonic_og3 жыл бұрын
On Java that single water in the middle of the crop farm is just wasted space. The collector stream and the waterlogged trap doors are enough to hydrate all the farmland between them.

You can also just add a Lantern in the water spot instead building a scarecrow if you guys wanna go minimalist. As for the Cow Crusher as it is best know as, Bedrock has issues for cramming, when I first started to play Bedrock out a few weeks ago, I came to learn this wasnt going to work, after spending a few hours breeding those cows, they were for whatever reason only taking three wheat, turns out, this was a no go in Bedrock.

I play Bedrock and the cow farm didn't work when I tried to build one in 1.16. I don't know if they fixed it by now. I had to build one of those towers that drop the baby cows down into a kill box where they're cooked with lava dispensers. It was clunky as hell, and had several problems. The major one being I'd have 8 cows in the breeding chamber. Then I'd hold 8 wheat expecting each cow would eat one piece and immediately go into love mode and give me four babies. Instead what would happen in one cow would eat all the wheat and I would get nothing. Now I just breed cows in a pen and kill them with a Fire Aspect Looting 3 sword.
