How about an automatic fish farm that would work with a Xbox controller to allow the trigger to be held down. 2 yrs ago I had one that worked with a note block and trip wire. The noteblock allowed me to rubberband my controller and it would never pull the bobber to come out until a fish took it

hey, fence gates are flammable. DO NOT USE FENCE GATES!!!!!! find an alternative like I now have to. edit: oak fence gates are not flammable and do not spread fire, spruce ones however do.

I have a fully functional iron farm now. first successful one I have built in Bedrock :) I just had to replace the wooden gates with Warped Wood and it works a treat.

Worked for me. I am playing on ps4. I build in a small plane island. I used Fletcher. Now I put a lot of trees on the ground. When I am cutting trees to make stick to trade with the trapped villagers, the iron gollens are spawning. Amazing!

Wow, honest about the output numbers. Appreciate that. Also, nice farm design. Just remember don't hit the iron golem, just walk into him to nudge him off the wall if needed. If you hit him off the wall, he'll kill you.

64 blocks from a village may work for 'imported' villagers, but if you kidnap them, you must move over 96 blocks away from nearest edge of their village.

I can confirm that this iron farm will work although I will say do not use wooden gates it will catch on fire try to find some alternative. took me a day to build in survival now I have all the iron I need! I am playing on a ps4

Another great idea that a friend and I implemented with this build is to put in Armorers. This will also work with Toolsmiths and Weaponsmiths, as long as they can buy iron. That way you can skim what you're not using for tools and building and make a tidy profit of emeralds and experience. Just remember to keep a bucket of water so you can waterlog a leaf block to get out.

Note that you need 20 workstations, not ten as stated at the start of the video 😁 Given the amount of iron you get from this, once it’s running you can put a chest on the ground and just run a line of hoppers from the top four all the way down!

Sadly not Larry… the bonemeal variant is Java However, you can add a filter to the collection system of this one to push the poppies through a composter to get bonemeal

Amazing farm thanks for the tutorial on how to make it. Mine was only spawning cats for a while, turns out I miss counted on my villager and only had 9 and not 10. Once I added the 10th it started working like a charm.

Just made the build in 1.18 bedrock and worked perfectly. I used crimson wood as advised in the comments because it is safer with lava. But it does work. And very quickly. It takes time, but worth it. Thank you for the build

Ok, something weird happened while importing my villagers from my breeder holding area (which is 75 blocks away). I had my return rail too close to me input rail and a villager jumped back in the cart and went back to the breeder for a second (and third) trip before I could fix it. He had already claimed a work station so now all the villagers in the breeder are shepherds, too....including the two breeding villagers which are 100 blocks further! I had already had cats spawning, but no golems. Then, I placed the lava wrong and burned all the blocks down that could burn and killed most of the villagers (I killed the rest to start from scratch instead of trying to round the few survivors up). Now I've rebuilt and repopulated the farm but don't even get cats now. Any thoughts as to how to fix this? Swap out all the work stations? Kill ALL the villagers, including the breeding pair and start over, or trash the whole farm and build it even further away?

Wouldn't it be easier and safer to build the villager cage on ground level, put the villagers in first, then excavate the Golem tray and a buffer space out from beneath it, then kill any excess golems that spawned in the wrong area to initialize it? Moving villagers up y levels is way harder than digging a big hole.

I just built it last night and both cats and golems were spawning. Like I had a golem walking around before I even got the last villager up to his new home. If you are only getting cats and not golems, it means you are missing one of the requirements. Make sure you have all 20 beds on the bed layer and all the heads have leaves of the bed. Make sure you have 20 work stations (at the beginning of the video he makes a mistake and says 10 but when he talks about placement it is definitely 20) and make sure the villagers are able to be at the work station (and make sure all of them are wearing the clothing of their new job). Lastly, make sure you have all ten people up there. If you have all those conditions, a golem should spawn pretty quickly. Cats on the otherhand were spawning once I had 2 or 3 villagers set up.

Thanks for this. It's a perfect little iron farm and very easy to build. For anyone who says it doesnt work, If you are certain you built it correctly, you probably have other villagers linked to the beds and/or workstations. I built mine right down low in a cave. I had a villager linking to a workstation and he was over 150 x blocks, 30 z blocks and 70 y blocks away. I had moved them from just under 100 blocks away as it wasnt working initially. But it wasnt far enough. I had to put in a temp platform and relay all the beds. and work stations. But now it works like a dream. its made from flowering azalea miss and clay with oak and goldstone. It's the prettiest iron I have ever seen 😁 ( shame about the noise 😛) Thanks again Avomance.

It allows the hopper minecart to transfer it's contents to the hopper below. Normal rails don't allow this function :) ps. use nether wood for the gates to stop them burning from the lava
