Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this. What do you think are the best beginner plants? What are your struggles with plants?

Thanks for this! I'm definitely going to look into some of those. I'd love to see a plant care basics video!

I would like to see “how to’s” on splitting plants. Also, large plants.

Absolutely! I have both on my list :)

Yes! I started my plant Mom journey around the same time as you. There were a couple casualties at first due to overwatering but once I got my snake plant and pothos and left them alone for around 4 weeks at a time I was feeling confident. I have a jade and a bunch of different succulents and have propagated my pothos 4x and am in the process of propagating my snake plant. I would LOVE a monstera at some point and a watermelon peperomia! Where do you get most of your plants?

Oh yay!!! I also would love a watermelon peperomia someday - so pretty!! I get all of them locally at small greenhouses. Except for one that I order online and it did not make it very long. Lesson learned.

Love this video! I have 4 Snake Plants myself. Do you have any plants that bloom? I have some Thanksgiving Cactus and an African Violet plant and can't seem to get them to bloom. I get some blooms on the Cactus plants in Nov. and again around Easter but not a lot just like 2 to 3 blooms and nothing on the violet. I keep them in the front window which is East. I moved my violet plant farther back thinking it might be to cold in the window. I have violet food that I give it every now and than. Would love some tips or a video on this.😊 I live in Northeastern IL just to give my climate conditions.

I have a Thanksgiving Cactus, but I was just given it as a gift at Thanksgiving, so I don't have much advice with this one yet. That's my only blooming plant so far. So sorry!

Hi, what about the one behind you? The fiddle leaf tree?
@laurasnaturallife3 жыл бұрын
Sadly, not an easy to keep alive plant for beginners. Totally go for it though if you want one! I'd suggest either getting a small one that you won't mind spending the money on if it dies, or watching a lot of videos first. Even still, they have personalities of their own!

I have had maybe 4-5 Jades over the past few years because Jade is also one of the safest plants for kids and pets so it almost is my only option but somehow my jades do not survive, I’m currently trying to revive Jade number-I-lost-count 🤦🏻♀️and really hope she’ll make it. But i wouldn’t say it’s so easy to maintain...or maybe energetically my place is just not meant for it? 🤷🏻♀️

That could be! I had that same issue with a rubber tree plant, we just did not vibe. I literally ignore this jade plant and maybe water every couple months and keep it in terra-cotta. I have a feeling the terra-cotta is a factor in the success with this one.
