Little-Windows Resin makes a safe, non-toxic resins and have wonderful molds and dychrofilms.
@miniscenesgb4 күн бұрын
O only use Apex. No resin is 100% safe once the parts are combined and the chemical reactions start. Many are safe before that reaction thjough

Thank you for not being perfect, it makes me feel better about myself! I’m new at this and have resin all over my room. It’s on the wood floor, my dresser, bathroom sink and sliding glass door handle and bedroom door handle. My room is sticky! I just found out and ordered some resin cleaner! I also liked seeing how you fixed your mistakes! Thank you! I’ll be watching your channel most of the time!

Learned not to spray a top coat the hard way. 😳 😂 When the ink exploded out of the cap I was going.. Oh ah.. Tracy.. and fighting the urge to tap you on the hand. 😂 I love all of the designs you made but I really liked the back of the coaster with the silver flake more than the front. The foiling that you added was a great idea for that coaster. I need to get some of that. 😍 This is a wonderful video Tracey. It's a great reminder of things we may not have used for a while. 💗

Really good informative video… Even if you’ve been doing this for a while, it never hurts to go back to basics… Thank-you for mentioning PPE, a just watched a video where there was no PPE, I mentioned it in the comments, and the KZbinr was very receptive, but apparently I triggered someone, and got told, to mind my own business and then called me nosey… lol I wish people took it more seriously… I got lazy and top coated two Christmas ornaments with UV, without PPE, now I’m paying for it with swollen eyes… (I did at least use gloves) Lesson learned… I was definitely screaming at you when the pen exploded…lol
@miniscenesgbАй бұрын
I've been victim of the swollen eyes things too, never again. Yeh I killed that pen :(

I've always had a problem with my coaster sticking to my glass or cup. Hot or cold, doesn't matter which. Plzzzz tell me what I'm doing wrong. Is there a length of time to wait bf using them? Even my older ones still do the same. You do beautiful work. Enjoy watching and learning from you.
@miniscenesgb19 күн бұрын
@@sarahfortune1170 a sounds like it’s probably not the right sort of resin for coasters. You need one with high heat tolerance, and a good quality one. I use mostly Apex, and if I know it’s going to be used for hot drinks, I’ll either make or top coat with Apex One Coat which is ideal. I must do a video on that sometime as it’s a very good question

Oh Tracey, that pen, I know we have happy surprises but that was a total opposite. Years ago I had a pen do that when I was making Christmas cards. I didn't realise and I had Gold fingerprints over everything. I tried to salvage it by making then into fingerprint Robins but it was bad. At least yours was salvageable, phew!!! A really good beginners video.❤❤🎉
