I feel ripped off and offended, the global go fest is as equally important and its not free, so people do expect and should get the same quality of any other fest. And the fact that niantic and many influencers, that can make a difference, just brush it off is unbelievable. Unown spawning in the wild with good shiny rates, and for us blocked behind a pay wall and one or two spawns. Rotom, they could've also given us one, since we have 4 more to go. Meloetta (Aria form; Pirouette form has yet to be released in general) released in the worldwide Go Fest 2021 for Ticket Holders only (minus a bug that caused some non-Ticket Holders to have access to the Special Research). Later became available to everyone else later in the year. The same thing will happen to Shaymin for Go Fest 2022. Since both forms have been released (Land form for Ticket Holders for the worldwide Go Fest and Sky form for the in-person Go Fests), they'll likely either add the Form Change button to Shaymin, have both encounterable in 1 Special Research, or have 2 Special Researches and you get the Land form in one and the Sky form in the other.

I don't see the point of these in-person go fests at all, there are so many things wrong with it - while I did have fun in Chicago, there's no reason each of these fests can't be worldwide. That said, they probably support the local economy but I don't think they're as big a money maker for Niantic as the worldwide fests.
@jakeberry54282 жыл бұрын
Of course not, but the point of these events is the experience, going out there and meeting other communities. That's the whole point of this game!

@@jakeberry5428 All of that could be done with a global fest, and even with these go fests, there could be the same game play opened up to the world. During the pandemic, I bought tickets for the Safari Zone Liverpool, Philadelphia, etc. all these cities - I was close to one of them - but it was a world wide event with the option of meeting local and global communities and from the one I went to, it was as successful as anything else. In all cases, I didn't just play at home. I think this current model, especially is an exclusionary practice BTW - the better model was provided during the pandemic and as we've seen with many other features, Niantic has rolled back things that worked (and then undone those after some outcry). I fully understand their bottom line is what matters, and this is what I expect Niantic to do. What I find surprising is that this is the path that improves their bottom line. And no, I don't think Niantic does a single thing with keeping money in mind (and I'm 100% okay with that, not saying it is bad).

With the good amount of Snorlax, I hope and wonder about Gmax as a way to provide new raid types and "Megas".
@SnooWords972 жыл бұрын
Gigantimax forms are similar to Megas in that it's a form change for battles only. However, unlike Megas where they get a big boost to move of their stats and most get new typings, Gigantimax forms just give you a lot more HP and your moves change into Max Moves, which do different things depending on what type your move is (some signature Max Moves have added effects as well). It'd be interesting to see how they'd implement it, given all it can do is increased your HP and maybe change your moves to Max Moves (if they add them) temporarily.

Great Video as Always!!! Just an FYI your (1-14-13)Rotom is R5 in UL at 2500CP/ L 43.5, and by the way it would've been horrible in GL, R925!!

Damn, even if only 7 shinies, 2 are Unowns and one Cowboy Snorlax, that's enough to make the day. If it was just more common pokemon, or less special, I would riot.
