Jesus Christ said that gay people, known as eunuchs at that time, were born that way from their mother's womb (Matthew 19:12). This explains why Jesus never spoke out against homosexuality, but He did speak out against adultery hundreds of times. Extremists seem to conveniently ignore this important fact. Even the Ten Commandments condemn adultery, but they do not condemn homosexuality. Leviticus 20:10 states that a man who commits adultery shall be put to death.

Here is a good place to start: Jesus shows that gay people can and will be part of His Kingdom: “I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.” (Luke 17:34) KJV

John Mark That interpretation of the text isn't even close to what it really means (Luke 7:34). The simple message of this passage is that at the end, no matter what you are doing whether you're sleeping or working when Jesus comes back it'll all stop and those who are evil will stay and those who believe in Christ will be taken. And if you do some research on the text of Luke 17:34-36, the words "men" and "women" isn't even inserted into the Greek text. Those words were added by assumption when translated. The passage doesn't even give a hint of homosexual interaction. I don't take words out of scripture, I see scripture as it is and I won't turn from it to the right or to the left like Joshua. John, check out Carm on google and type any theological question that you have. Carm is an apologetics website that helps interpret scripture and theology better than we could understand it. Don't be blind dear friend, God's word is far too perfect for us to get it wrong.

Actually, I am well versed in the Greek scriptures. Regarding Luke 17:34 the words "men" are not included in the original Greek is because they are using male pronouns. Where a male pronoun is not used, then you have to state "women" if you are referring to females, so the KJV translation is correct. To demonstrate this point, just look at the very next verse 17:35 which states two "women" because the female pronoun is used here. And two women "grinding" together is a Hebrew colloquial expression for making love. It does not mean grinding wheat etc because it says "in that night". People do not grind wheat or corn at night, only during the day. As for Carm, I know them very well and they are homophobic bigots. They tend to twist the Bible to fit their extremist agenda. They do not know as much as you think they do.
