You can not serve God and Mammon God or politics, mixing the church and politics is wrong in my and God's opinion. To be kingdom focus is what we need to do and not bring politics in the church and to defile the temple of Christ!

So... What was the role of the prophet in the old testament? Samuel, Elijah, Nathan, Jeremiah... All of them spoke to the King... How about John the Baptist and Herod? Politics is about power... Government... The distribution of resources. It directly impacts society and therefore the church must have a voice... Its Biblical. The question is: what should we say?

Amen. The Bible, however, predicted this would happen and it will. The United States is going to enact religious laws in the very near future which will deny many their freedom of conscience. They are going to pass Sunday laws.....that’s what blue laws are on the books for, except the next time it happens, it’ll go global thereby voiding Gods Ten Commandment law “remember the sabbath “. That’ll be the final test upon mankind: loyalty to God’s laws or the tradition of men: Sunday. This church , like so many today, are pushing this church-state Union. It’s one of many end time deceptions Jesus warned about.

Psalms 24:1 says "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof the world and all that dwells their in. It's biblical to be involved in Politics. Politics in Latin means "To influence" and Pastor understands he needs to be influencing the world and not just through his pulpit on Sundays.

Patrice Paschal Isaac Show me in the Bible where it says you cannot mix the legal govern body vs the teaching of God's Word? Please show me. God Himself gave the people their Kings. They didn't want God ruling over them anymore they wanted secular Kings. If the legal system was introducing a bill that said "no children conceived on odd years" and the children of God say to the King (President) you have no right in that law. Does the church not have the right to stand up for God and say what the Bible says that contradicts the law that the politics are trying to pass? Hopefully this is a silly example but of course the church has a right to bring it to the people. You've been very misinformed by someone along the way. God says we are to stand up for what's right and a Pastor that brings this to His people is serving God and His people.
