Sir i have a question. Provided the cantilever slab backspan is significantly long, around 90%, are cantilevered rooms overhanged by just 12 inches or 30 cm requires cantilever beams underneath the floor slab if the outer walls are made of bricks and are 3m high? wow… where to begin? So in India it’s acceptable to get away with less than 1/10th the steel in buildings? I’ve NEVER seen lintels or beams built in such a way… and that concrete…😳 was it mixed by hand? It looks honeycombed and inconsistent.
