I can’t wait to see your Sam apron! I made it twice now and love that pattern. As for the pretty blouse - I couldn’t tell for sure, but it looks to me like the shoulders might be a bit wide for you and therefore the seam line isn’t at the right spot. That could explain tightness in the bicep. If you try to pin the shoulder seams so they sit exactly at your shoulder bone, do the arms feel better? I love Vlogmas too but as a vlogger myself, there’s no way I can release a video daily AND watch everyone else’s videos. LOL So I’ll be doing a weekly vlogmas video. New subscriber. Fun apron, I like both fabrics together, but would choose the first one if it were for me. Choosing fabrics with so many choices is always hard for me, lol. Beautiful Metra Blazer, so well made, love your fabric choice. It will look so nice with all of those blouses. I like watching the Vlogmas videos that are short & include small fast projects & getting to know the person better like learning about their favorite holiday traditions, recipes, etc. I don't know how they all do daily videos! A close friend Andra at Andra Makes did M-F last year & that was fun. Have a nice weekend & Thanksgiving Kathy!

Yes, The first fabric seems to be the winner. I do love the Metra blazer and wore it all day yesterday and I felt so good. I am looking forward to vlogmas in some fashion.

I also love vlogmas. Perhaps if you decide to do them, do not worry too much about bringing out a video every day. Just stick your footage together as you can and make it a daily-ish vlogmas as and when you can 🙂

What beautiful fabric for your apron! I personally like the 1st one for the accents. I didn’t look close enough at the pattern to notice if it had a binding or not but I’d use that fabric there also. In looking closer at your muslin blouse I think the arms are fine but might need a broad back adjustment? I love the idea of getting into the cost of materials. I don’t consider my time but I do consider fit and finish when I look at total cost. As we both are challenged by RTW clothes it plays into it. Tall/Short😊. Your daughter is just lovely! Aren’t grandkids just the best. So happy you had a wonderful time with them❤️

Kathy, I suggest you stand in front of a mirror and really look at the shoulder fit. Check if the sleeve head comes to your shoulder bone. Adjust that first, then look to see how the back fits, then check your arm fit. Most garment shoulder fit is crucial and should be the first thing, so good luck with your mirror date 😉

I just watched Lifting Pins and Needles latest. She goes through shoulder fit BUT explained why and when she does it and her favorite method. You might really be able to solve your issues! Good luck.
