The 6ixty5ive and the Steel Singer are my favorite pedals of this comparison. I have to try these next time in a guitar store.

Yes, go for it! The Steel Singer is possibly even more underrated than the 6ixty5ive, but it's definitely worth a look. You can get some lovely thick tones out of it. I still can't believe how few people seem to know and appreciate the joys of the 6ixty5ive 😅

Good Saturday evening dear friend, excellent comparison of 4 pedals from Nux. According to this comparison, everyone can choose, the prices are very, I repeat, very acceptable. The sound performance is great. I warmly greet you and wish you a nice weekend. Pavel CZ.👍👍👍

Hey Pavel, thanks a lot! Yes, NUX really does offer something for everybody, and their prices are so cheap we can all afford them. Makes a nice change :) Wishing you a great weekend too! Although it's mow already the next weekend... Rich

You had me at cheese, my heart breaks for the lactose intolerant 😢. Dessert without cheese is like a meal without wine which is like a day without Sunshine! The horsemen is my favorite always on low gain boost or mid drive distortion. Such a cool pedal.
@RichWordsMusicАй бұрын
Yeah, cheese is essential to my being. Somehow I knew it would be to yours too! Great minds and all that. If I had to give up cheese or guitars...that's not even a decision I would want to have to comprehend! The Horseman is simply amazing... you can't knock one half of the mythical Firehorse after all. On a separate note, rest in peace to the incomparable James Earl Jones.

I suppose the most important question would have to be: what are four fantastic moderately priced cheeses? I have experience with a couple of Nu-x pedals - the Roctary Leslie sim which sounds fantastic, the Tape Corr Space Echo sim which is also fabulous and I bought my brother the Lacerate boost (along with a Tape Core) which I tried out and is a brilliant and surprisingly versatile boost. I wonder if the Diamond ( which sounded great in your demos) would do anything more than the AC Sound from Joyo and Caline? (It does have the Top Boost switch but one can do something like that with the Voice control..) Tthe Steel Singer and the 65 also sound great. I wonder what the Steel Dinger is based on? (Mason frim Vertex said they copied him but the circuit is apparently very different). Anyway, thanks for your videos. I really appreciate that you do a lot of indie-type chord stiff in your demos as that has a lot more practical application for me.

Yes, that's a question for the ages indeed! Controversial and mainstream possibly, but four I am enjoying muchly at the moment: Cathedral City mature cheddar, Old Amsterdam (mature Gouda), Grana Padano, and the amazing Black Bomber by the Snowdonia Cheese Company (more mature cheddar!). All well worth it, in my humble opinion. I love the NUX Tape Echo too - this is a great a feature-rich delay, with loads of options and lovely tones. They really do make a lot of cool pedals that seem to go under the radar. The Diamond is excellent, and I'm yet to properly try the AC Sound (had a go for 30 seconds in a shop once) but that one does seem to have a deeper control set. That said, with the Diamond I don't find myself missing anything! I intend to grab an AC Sound soon too, and I will compare them and share my findings at some point. The Steel Singer, according to my contact at NUX, is indeed a take on a Dumble amp. Presumably the circuit has been inspired by another D-type pedal, but no one has ever conclusively (to my knowledge) shown which one that might be. Either way, it sounds wonderful. And finally, thanks for the kind words! Really happy you're enjoying the channel and the riffs - there's not too many people out there playing indie chords in gear demos, so someone's gotta do it ;) Happy music making and rock on, and now I'm going to open Rich Cheese Music and see where that takes me :)

As usual, the klon has alway some character, some nasal range pleasant to hear.
@RichWordsMusicАй бұрын
Yep, it's a great pedal - there's a reason why so many players go back to it again and again, I guess.

Pour ma part, j’ai choisi la Nux 65, le son que je cherchais

My favorite cheese is an Ibanez TS-9, what cheese would that be?🤔😂
@RichWordsMusicАй бұрын
That's probably a mild cheddar - a great and not too-exotic choice for almost anyone that can be used to make any dish/tone more exciting! Hammer up the gain though and it becomes a mature cheddar - maybe something like a Cathedral City - with beautiful creaminess and a hefty kick 🔥 And now I'm hungry too 😉

@@RichWordsMusic true, but you also have your Caline OD which would be like shredded mozzarella from a non named brand store🤣
