Exactly. Most of the food they eat are gross only because they are eaten plain and unseasoned. When you use them in a recipe they becomes a lot more palatable.

@RadenWA Definately. I mean, what is an anus? Basically, it's a muscle. "Muscle" doesn't sound as disgusting as "anus", doesn't it? And blood can be used in many recipes, like in sauces or soups and you can make sausages and other types of dishes out of it. Fish eyes, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure you can cook them in a soup or something. I have zero clue about balut, though. I believe it's a snack in Asia?

Pork blood is fine actually. It's a very common food in Asia, especially in Taiwan and China. Of course, usually when people eat it, it's mixed up with other stuff in a pork blood soup (so the blood taste is barely noticed).

Pork Blood is something my family eats semi-frequently. We're chinese so it's also common to see pork blood in most holidays such as Chinese New Years, although I desperately hate it. Fish eyes are also something my mom (and little brother) likes to eat which is questionable. We cook whole fish, not filleted, which is what most of Fujian/chinese cuisine does. Edit: Maybe it all tastes bad since it is all boiled...I've never eaten boiled fish eyes or pork blood..mostly cooked with sauce, etc (pork blood is usually cooked with green onions, etc).
