Thanks man! Glad you got something out of it. We do have knife / weapons combatives training. In fact, we just finished a class on knife fighting. Looking forward to having you a part of the Online Academy. We're going through a HUUUGGEEE Upgrade process now. Looking forward to showing you all. Oss.

99% percent of the time if they have a gun or a knife you are fucked, Moral of the story is put them on their ass before they can get it out and run

Looks great, would like to see what you do with a double leg slam

How we do it, or what we do against it? Many of us are ex-wrestlers (HS & Collegiate), so a "double-leg" offense / defense is kinda basic, but we do have some drills / techniques on this channel about it.

Why not finish with a right cross instead of that weak hammer. It's just more natural to throw that cross. Plus you're creating an angle if you duck the left hook, step and blast that right cross and leave your left open for the takedown. Good flow either way. Thank you for your valuable time making these videos!

Thanks for your insight! Remember this is just a drill, you can add anything you want into it, as long as it "works".

doubling up on the hooks on the left side is a good rhythm break that seems pretty useful against someone used to fighting rhythms.

Um seriously? I would love to see a street fight like this lol

So learning a striking combination with Jiu-Jitsu is... Bad? What then would you suggest? Based upon your comment I assume that you are a master of street fighting. What's your street fight record? 1253586 wins - 0 losses?

Yes actually, karate practitioner for 20 years, Nidan, I would suggest jab to the face, an elbow and a kick if possible. This will mess any “tough guy” up because the bones are quite sensitive, it’ll make then think twice also. Attacker may be pissed so I’d suggest a knee or a kick to the groin and run away. This is what we teach women and kids to do in class. Because it’s simple and it works. A four strike combination (with no guard) followed by a highly technical takedown is totally unrealistic for a novice watching on YT to learn much less do in the moment and be effective. Keep it simple stupid! Jab to the face, elbow, kick and run away! This is why I laugh when I see this kind of stuff online. I actually searched for hook kick takedown and it suggested this, lol.

TRITAC Media I don’t have any issue with Jiu-Jitsu it’s a noble martial art, it seems unrealistic for a novice to learn from this and take anything away of value, martial arts take years to do well, this seems way too complicated, most street fights I’ve seen are pretty laughable.
