Christina love love them. You are an inspiration. Thank you so much. I have an old veneer tall (short) boy which need some tlc. The top an sides are ok but the draws the veneer is coming off. So I was thinking to pull them all off and paint it under. Not sure if that going to look ok but no way I can find veneer matching and sticking it back. So I thought the best next thing is to paint it. See how I will go.

Hi Christina... love the lamp makeovers! The dresser turned out gorgeous! Hubby and I bought a solid maple kitchen table and chairs approximately 30 yrs ago...over the years the varnish turned dark so I’ve sanded the top and stripped the legs....to make it all natural....I was just going to clear coat it but that paint wash has me thinking🤔🤓?? Thank you as always for sharing your wonderful projects😊kim

Hi Elizabeth! This type of glue comes in different brands you may have to ask for a spray glue adhesive and you find it. I know the company 3M makes one as well! I hope this helps🙏🎨❤️

Thanks! Spray glue and gorilla glue - helpful for me. I have a shade but the plastic under the original shade (you pulled that off) is a little bent. Do you think the linen or new shade might cover those two smaller areas?

I see you got some new scissors, since changing the other lamp. 😁 I sweae those sanding discs are the best sand paper, I use mine a lot. They work better, than regular sand paper. I mean, I still use regular sand paper too, but I use my old sand paper discs, they work amazing. There is still a lot of sand left on them, after they are not any good for the sanders, anymore. I love them all. I am working on a similar lamp, right now. I have a few more lamps, I will try these techniques later. I am using the baking soda technique on this one, and I love it.

I am getting an Antique Mirror that I want to paint Gold using an Acrylic Paint from Michael's. I will also be putting on a wax stain on top of that. I know this looks good together and will work but my question is do I really need to sand the mirror? It has a lot of carving on the top. Its old and there should not be a problem with the mirror taking the paint and I plan to put 2 to 3 coats on it. What do you think????
