Useful advice as ever - thanks Nathan! I've found these past few weeks tough (with my stress fracture) but have been trying to keep fit by swimming a few times a week. It's not the same, but it's something ...

Thanks Isaac. Hang in there man. One day at a time. You'll be back on the roads in no time. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks for these tips. I love learning from experienced runners like you. Please get rid of the desk, use a whiteboard, and summarize key tips. You are a teacher now :). Most importantly, please take your best One Mile run time and make your videos in that same time. Thanks again.

Mofasa. Thanks for the message. There are plenty of other teachers online that have the whiteboard and perfect backdrop you may like. I work with what I have at this time and I make videos the way I am most comfortable with. I'm not interested in perfection but getting the message to my viewers and impacting their lives. I'd recommend guys like @nicksymmonds and others who have the perfect backdrop and world-class editing skills you may find more enjoyable. You're always welcome here regardless. Thanks again.

its amazing how the training principles are the same all the way from like 5 hours to Kipchoge's sub 2 hour- train FASTER than the goal race pace

training philosophy is universal...trick is sticking to the plan for a long enough period of time. Far too many quit too soon and even fewer willing to train for a decade or more to reach their full potential. Be tenacious!

Nathan, surgery went well. Right near the end they infected a chemical surrounded by a fatty substance in bones which was supposed to stay there. But bones were so hard the fatty substance broke and chemical got into my system. All of a sudden I heard buzzing and my lips went numb so I immediately told my anesthesiologist. By the time he injected the counter drugs I was into a seizure. But because I knew what was happening and said something I was out of it fast. Had to stay the night at hospital, but I've already walked up some steps and range of motion is great. Gonna be a while until I can start jogging but I'll be back.

Ich wünsche Ihnen viel Erfolg beim Trainingsaufbau. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHK5mKx8Yt6hbbs and kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJK8pYOrp5yepM0
