By best friend & his family of 7 had a Speed Queen washer just like that one with the matching dryer! It did the laundry for that entire family of 7 with very little problems! To bad most appliance manufacturers don't make-um like that any more!

I just bought A SpeedQueen “PerfectWash” TL3 washing aka swishing machine.DISASTER. it does not clean. And it shuts down because there is a sensor weighing clothes when they are wet. Tomorrow I have to call the dealer and see if I can exchange the TL swishing machine for the TC washing machine.

Speed Queen the new ones as boring as ever. The older 1970s fluid drive models that were in many a laundromat with the stainless steel no holes tub was far more interesting to do laundry in.

Is a long stroke agitator as opposed to short stroke.. that's how it's is supposed to be.

The tubs don't need no punkass indexing or moving. That method puts strain on the motors. Modern appliaces suck as well. Only the agitator moves not the whole tub, i don't even understand the logic behind Agitubs. They suck, they don't contribute to any clothes cleaning. It's just a way for modern washers to break after 3 to 5 years. This washer? It's been around for years and still working.
