This is probably my favorite drive of this year. Such an amazing road! I was debating whether or not to cut out pieces where image was a bit obstructed by water droplets from the fog (between 15:18 - 38:04 and 2:47:26 - 3:09:40), but decided to keep it in at the end. Did you watch it through or skipped it?

... years ago we travelled from San Francisco north to Mendocino and Eureka - remember the volcanoes - ; then east to Reno, Lake Tahoe and several more interesting places. During this 14-day-trip we had beautiful weather. In romantic Mendocino are great cliffs, amazing beaches and we went swimming ... this was such a lovely trip. I watched every second of your drive and parts of it twice. I drove that road from somewhere north of Lincoln City in Oregon down to San Diego over 3 or 4 days back in the Spring of 1989. My wife and I have fond memories of the beautiful views and of the vegetation. Succulents were blooming on the sides of of the road, making for a spectacular experience. We were planning to go back, probably for the last time, early next year. But now, given the current situation, it looks like we'll have to go somewhere else...
