Ok, I've changed my mind on the 4 hour fishing videos. I always use your videos as instructional videos. I find the little things make the most difference. You may not think your content at times is very interesting, but for someone trying to better himself, it's priceless . I find myself going back and watching this video a few times as a learning tool. Show everything from bait to fish and keep up the good work.

This is probably how it is for you everytime you make a video. 4 to 7 hours of fishing. You then at least that long to edit the video. And we see 20 t040 minutes of prime time activity. So it probably takes All day and half the night to bring us the quality of videos that you provide. And a big thank you for all you do to get a video out.

I came across your videos several months ago & this is my only form of TV so to speak. I don't watch things on TV as it rots your brain. Anyway I have extreme ADHD at age 52 .there are many times times I wish your videos were longer because it takes me awhile to fall asleep because it's at night when I watch & fall asleep watching your videos. Not that you're boring I find you hilarious & informative. I kinda of wish you would mix some bank fishing in some more & show a little of your set up & knot tying & different knots. I like it Dave. It was great to hear your narration is more focused on catfish fishing related stuff. Kayak Catfish honestly is a true innovator with regards to the business of youtube catfishing. I think has figured out or is figuring out how to maximize $$$$. Excellent for him. That said, I stopped listening to the long Kayak Catfish vids because of all references to non fishing stuff...(fat people at walmart, why this store went out of business, why young people are stupid, etc). I totally understand its very difficult to talk for 4 hours so I definitely understand and respect the effort. Either way, best wishes to you both and keep on doing what you do.

and BTW I don't think developing the 4-hour video was luck at all. I see various things that he has done to expand his market. Foe example, adding the carp to his repertoire. He has a significant amount of international subscribers. He has made fishing for bait a show. He has fishing products for sale. He has EXCELLENT business acumen along with very good fishing and very efficient use of his time. Yes, he is a good person to emulate from a business perspective. Give him his credit. Dave people watch 4 hour videos because they want to see what its really like for these guys. They want to see how you tie your rigs, they want to see how you find the fish. Buy a go-pro and mount it on ur chest so they can see the fish finder and all that.

I think it's a great idea! Troll the audience while trolling the water! Some will like and some won't. With the long ones, i try to watch in one viewing, but i can always come back later to finish. I prefer this over the shorter videos. Sure everybody likes to see all the big fish catches but I for one like to see how and why that fish was caught. What led up to it? What kinda water was it caught in? What kinda structure or cover was it caught in? For someone trying to learn about the whens, wheres and hows to catch fish its much more educational to see the FOUR HOURS OF RAW UNCUT boat fishing. You get see everything. The good, the bad, and the ugly! What gear, what bait was used. Plus you get Story Time in between catches as well. Myself, I hope you keep putting out the 4 hour raw and uncut vids.
