I usually don't comment much but I feel you should know - at least one of your regulars had a great vicarious Florida vacation thanks to you. I think I watched every minute except the guided trip. Just didn't get around to it. I loved sharing your patience during the dead periods which made those shark runs all the more special. I've watched most of your stuff for years - this was the best for me. Don't change a thing except maybe make two trips a year! P.S. I love bluegill fishing also.....

Love the point you were bringing out your old man "get off my lawn" to those wakeboarders. I understand that feeling. Just made me think about you sitting on your front porch in your rocking chair. So glad you enjoyed your Florida trip.... Thank you for taking us along with you.

1:10:50 the blue gill and all fish there have a longer summer weather pattern to grow. They eat and move in a summer pattern longer in the year than around our area here in Tenn-Al

Personal page question but how has this video done over the holiday week. On my end it has been a stretch for me to watch over to break it up over the holiday weekend with all the family visiting. I was able to get my dad to watch an edited ultra light "crappie" episode. He was looking up crappie kayak fishing so I suggested ultra light kayak crappie knowing your video would pop up. With a little guidance we got there lol

You should try to fish Lake Ida and the Everglades in the summer. Yes it’s hot and humid, however the exotics bite much better. Time seems to go faster as you get older because you have more to compare it to. When your 5 a year is a 5th of your life, that’s a long time. When you’re 50 it’s a 50th of your life. That’s nothing. So as you get older time seems to go faster. Glad you found your camera mount. I use a Shimano Baitrunner reel and spinning rod for shark fishing, I’m not home or I would let you know the size. It works great for sharks.

You need to skip that gulp up under those docks. It’s like sling shotting it under the docks. In Texas everyone does it. Works great once you get the hang of it.

You should get a sea Anker to create more resistant when you get a big shark

Loving the Florida videos. Question, you have pre iiusly mentioned buck perry having good advice making you a better angler, were you watching videos or reading a book by him?
@KayakCatfish

I read his book and every article I could find about him. The only videos of him are a couple interviews when he was really old. Don Dickson has a KZbin channel dedicated to Buck’s teachings though.

Do they have those exotic catfish in that lake. Those red tails can get huge. I’ve seen others catch them down there and was just curious. Great video once again. And I’m ready for spring to sprang. 😅

If you go with a spinning rod go with a bait feeder reel. I promise it will be much easier than tightening your drag.

I was crappie fishing last year at McFarland park peer and was busting off some nice crappie on 1/32 and Bobby garland, and all the sudden the fight was on, 4lb line. I get it was the biggest blue gill I’ve ever seen. He was 10.9 long and freaking out. I got all measurements so I can have a mount made of it. (You don’t ave to kill the fish to mount them now for those who don’t know) so I was able to release it. But I got all pics and measurements for the mount. I’m waiting to catch a double digit large mouth to have a doubt mount made with it. Bc it would take a double digit bass to eat it.

What's the difference in them bluegill and the ones we have? They look quite bit bigger and maybe darker. Some tanks for sure. Also I hate jet skis. Everytime one goes by I picture myself flinging my bait at um an hooking them and ripping them off the jet ski

I miss the edited 30 to 40 minute videos. I rarely have the time for these 4 hour videos. Seems you transitioned after all the live stream content. It's either 8 to 10 minut3s or 4 hours. I deffinately watch the ones that are an hour or less like the old days. I rarely get through 4 hours. I've b3en watching around 6 years. Still love your cont3nt. Had to start a new account due broken phone and forgotten passwords

I won’t be making any more 30 to 40 minute videos. They require too much time to edit and these long unedited videos get five times the amount of views.

That’s definitely a lack of self-awareness and good etiquette and kids these days. They don’t understand what it means to be aware of the surroundings and people around them. They’ve all been locked into the screens for so long now they don’t even know how to act normal. And then they get labeled with some kind of mental disorder and put on medicine and give the parents an excuse for their bad Parenting.
