I absolutely love this one. I also like that today you showed your process a bit more...if something was working or not. I was so invested, I found myself saying "oh that doesn't seem to work" and then seconds later you would pull something off or change it. Hey! What coincidence! I'm basically using this method for my 100 collage challenge!! I'm using fashion and travel magazines for background and focal points. I'm also using a up cycled real simple magazine for my journal. I'm even using the same glue stick!!! Wow! I'm taking your advice also and the only theme is images that I love or think that are interesting. So thanks for some more inspiration !!🌷🌷🌷

I think you really explain the process really well- not that we just see something and know 100% this goes here and there and wah lah!! I think some expect that it doesn't take much work at all, but it does. All the auditioning of pieces, trying new ideas, feeling the piece, knowing you need something here, but not sure if this image is what we need. It is all a process- and this video explains it so well!! At least for me, I feel validated that my process is very similar. I don't know about other people, but I love all the tips and tricks you share- and often watch videos 3-4 times, gathering more info each and every time!!

Well, that was fun!!! As I've said before, I watch you on a 50" screen(it has to be used for something) and don't have the "comment" option but this video sent me straight to the computer to comment. It was so good to feel the mind of an artist going through the process of choosing the perfect focal points. I know "perfection" is not our aim in life, but your choices are perfect!!! you are amazing georgie...and thank you for calling my playing at the table a 'talent'...lol....you know...sometimes i think...."really? you are going to film yourself moving pieces around? have you lost your mind?" but that is part of the process and i do not want anyone to believer that it just happens magically the first time you place some pieces down....sometimes it takes days for find the right piece...and then...hmmmmm....not so perfect afterall...lol....that is part of the fun! thank you georgie...see you on the table...

Really fun piece. Thank you for sharing your process. I don't think collage is simple at all. I struggle with it, especially when trying to make a collage background. With practice I am improving my skills, but I have never tried this fun project 😊😊

Eerie and fascinating. I keep wondering why she is blindfolded and hope for the best. It's so helpful to hear you think it out. Liking the limited ingredients as sometimes I feel overwhelmed by my stuff. Now, I know I have an image w/a window somewhere . . .

Hi, I just found you and half way through your video I hit like and then I subscribed and tapped the bell. I wanted to see how you'd incorporate the lady on the steps with the focal points you had picked out...and when I saw how you covered her and used the background for your other creatures! LorriMarie Jenkins Hi LorriMarie. I'm an old retired broad that has taught classes in primitive art painting with acrylics, fiber art classes and also needle felting by hand and machine. Working with paper, making cards and collages and journal making is new to me and I try to find collage artists on KZbin that have their own distinctive technique and hope to learn something from all of them. I've been in that "gathering stage" and moving things around in my craft room to make room for a whole different line of tools, stamps, ink pads, stencils, etc. etc. I love to learn new things. I'll be teaching fabric post cards here in our development, at their local clubhouse and look forward to teaching again. In the meantime I'll be working on multi media collaging and watching my KZbins. :-)

good morning from australia tba2....i use mostly art magazines...but there are no magazines that are safe around me! lol! i love haute dolls (no longer in print), somerset, hi-fructose, juxtapoz and really....any magazines...even the fashion mags can be fun...they do push my creativity to the edge sometimes tho...lol...thank you for asking...i love this 4 ingredient collage....i have made another and i plan to make more...because i can do this on the plane coming home...15 hours...wowza...right? see you on table tba2!

i take a picture of the piece and put in on a thumb drive....i take the thumb drive to costco....yes...costco....and they send it away and have it printed on metal....an amazing process......and the metal piece is so 'clear and sharp'....a really fun way to process the mixed media pieces coreen.....it is pretty affordable too!!! so....go create, go play, go have fun!

I use scissors to cut things out, I get a little clumsy at times so I don't want to cut my fingers with the knife

susan....i use any magazine that comes into my path....the background piece was from a fashion magazine....the images are from art magazines....the sky is the limit....really i use what ever i can find! it is a matter of looking at everything in a different way....altering images is challenging and fun at the same time....i get art magazines at library book sales....they sell for .25 each....quite a bargain for art supplies! lol....see you on the table susan...
