My E90 LCI also has the full brown leather interior and it went with gloss black interior trim by factory. I think it would fit to your car better, too.👌👌

I have to say, Personally I love wood trim on pretty much every car as I feel it's more natural and feels more like your home if you get where I'm coming from. I'm not hating or anything. Just sharing my thoughts.

I usually hate it because it looks like home... Feels heavy. And I love home, but for me car is car. Especially when "race car". You get it I'm sure. I always wonder why people do like wood interiors. Well in some instances it's not a question. Funny how we humans are different, yet we are the same - we both love beamers right? :)

it depends on the car, sure its great and fitting in an old mercedes sedan but not in a sporty relativley new bmw at least imo

Looks AMAZING, but yeah with the saddle brown (aka cinnamon) interior, the silver trim isn't good. The wood just keeps it classy & complements it very well. If you wrap it or get actual carbon fiber (aka that black look) then yes it'll compliment the cinnamon interior. (or the alcantara or however u spell it is also good).

Agreed, I feel with the saddle brown Piano Black would've been a better touch but thats my personal opinion. I also have a e90 lci with saddle brown and wood trim and a 135i with black and aluminum trim

Agreed. Too many colors going on. Could the saddle brown and aluminum combination even been ordered in 2009? I have the poplar wood trim with the grey interior on my '08 E92 and I think it looks great, though the aluminum trim would certainly go with the grey as well.

I have had a 335i now for 15 years upgrades over the last 7 years are Td0 4 turbos at 18 psi FBO LTD diff full seal kit in auto runninnig MHD and XHP stage 3 upgraded full pump and modified fuel pump driver with cooling fan dyno's at 550 reliable HP , and have never used E85 the main killer of reliability in these engines. at 1350KGs and a very stock looking E90 those Mustang and Dodge boys sure get one hell of a shock when this little old man is looking at them in his reaveiw, what a buzz, the most realiable and fun car I have owned, and I have owned a lot of muscle cars in my 50 years of driving.

I think the aluminum trim doesn't look too bad. I actually kind a like it. However, I think that carbon handbrake handle needs to do. They make an aluminum handbrake for the e90x similar to the shift knob's style. That would look waaaaaay better.

If you're able to keep it clean. wrap the silver trim with the vvivid mock suede wrap. Definitely much easier on the eye and softer to touch

so a friend also has the Individual sign on his steering wheel and also on the door. It's present if you have anything individual equipped like the paint or interior. So your car most likely was ordered through BMWs Individual program

I personally love me some wood trim. Have it in my e46 also with the brown interior and to me it looks so classy. Not rockin with the aluminum trim for that interior color. Think the gloss black might be more your speed if you don’t want the wood boss man. Waitin on that e46 &e30 content 🤙🏼🔥🔥

I have my E92 335i rocking carbon fiber trim, you can even wrap it with vinyl and I think it would look better than the aluminum one.

Saddle brown goes with the trim hands down, I had the aluminum trim from build order. I didn’t ever touch the interior besides bucket seats and a CAE short shifter.

I'm glad you made this video, I always thought that the aluminum trim would not look good with that color of seats because I have the same color. You have verified that for me and now I'm going to go a different route I will either go with carbon fiber or I might look into the alcantara. I will save the aluminum trim for my X3 because I have black seats in that.

have you ever tried a Raceseng shift knob? They are billet aluminum(or titanium) and I really enjoy the smoother shift I get. Made my short shifter feel less notchy without taking away the feeling. I think their “Contour” shift knob looks amazing in e90s and the raw silver aluminum with the matte/beaded finish matches up nicely with my brushed aluminum trim.

Looks good changed my trim last year, just matches knobs, handles better Should have added a new start/stop button, while you had the center piece off, performance e brake would be best but you cannot find them anywhere

Got the same shift knob but i love it compared to the stock one. Not a major difference but very nice textile feel in my opinion.

My 335i has the silver trim atm and hate it, getting them replaced with either smooth gloss black or alcantara. Only part of the new interior mods I don't like but that's my personal preference which ultimately doesn't matter to you lol

The alu trims don’t match with the brown panels if you ask me. I had piano black trims on my E93 combined with the brown leather and it looked fantastic. Feedback received was mainly positive. I’m sure your alcantara trims will look amazing as well plus likely more modern

This car came with the m-sport trim on the steering wheel. I was the second owner (Kentucky) and we replaced the steering wheel and added the individual steering wheel trim surround.

I considered getting the aluminum trim but I have the saddle brown as well and I REAAAAALLY hate how it looks with the aluminum. I’ve considered carbon fiber or just leaving the wood trim since it basically transitions well between the saddle brown and black, in my opinion.

The one who did it was a friend of mine who works as an upholsterer and has a 335i as well, but he did the trim in alcantara on his car and I didn’t like it very much. Feels weird in my opinion
