Thanks for being so vulnerable here, Joy. It's crazy how our perceptions of ourselves can be so vastly different from others'. I've been following you for years now and am always amazed at how incredibly insightful you are- the way that you process and communicate your feelings and experiences is so admirable. Love you and your beautiful mind!

my favorite thing about everything you create is the humility and the purity of passion that runs through all of your work. I think this is sometimes why things don't blow up to huge proportions is because it's meant to be appreciated by an authentic audience... not necessarily the largest one. So grateful to have your content. It means a lot to see a genuine creative who is creating their own path for themselves.

You two together make my heart so warm💛 Both such wise and open souls. As always, thank you for sharing your vulnerability with the world, Joy - it is much needed and I can relate to your not feeling smart/good enough so much. I know lots of people feel this way but it definitely has a way of making you feel like it’s just you. So thank you for sharing your story💫 Lots of love and can’t wait until you and your mom do your next episode! Literally my fave duo!😍

I too have followed you for years and can echo every word said by @nutellaluv above. We never know how other people see us and they seldom know what personal insecurities we have. You seemed to me to be totally relaxed while asking your two guy friends really intimate questions. That level of friendship is unusual even by the standards of today's generation so treasure it. It was a brilliant idea to have your Mum host the interview as it allowed your own emotions to come to the fore which wouldn't have happened with anybody else. From the little I have seen of her your Mum is a lovely lady, (at 84 I am allowed to say that). When worrying whether something is good enough to publish think of it this way - you have no idea how interesting that can be to so many people. We all strive for perfection but it is better to publish something less than perfect than not to publish anything in case it is badly received. Do keep entertaining and educating us about your life! One of your most ardent fans.
