I literally use Into The Mouth of Hell We March’s riff that pedals off the first fret and the main riff from Scylla and Charybdis to tighten up my rhythm playing whenever I fall into a period of crappy playing.

Trust me I remember because I love metalcore and when embers to inferno came out there was hardly a scene at all for metal core for his style to ever be considered generic. Pretty crazy when you realize these riffs are from their second album. I tried to learn suffocating sight in high school after one of the first big youtube guitar heroes, Killrbuckeye covered it. Was truly the golden age of metalcore, I spent my whole time trying to learn trivium, all that remains and killswitch engage riffs.
