Keep in mind Dray is the same height as Klay and weighs 230 or so. I know people think numbers is what guarantees worth to a team (and typically numbers tell the story) but Dray is that rare example of how numbers don’t describe a player’s worth to a team. If i were a youth or HS coach I'd be showing my players clips of Dray all time. He is a fundamentally perfect defender. Not super athletic, undersized, but knows how to get low and is never out of position. Super long arms does help. He's not just guarding run of the mill players here--you see Jokic, AD, and KAT getting neutralized.

AD has surpassed 28 ppg 2 times in his career playing far less minutes, i dont think its absurd to compare their peaks especially if you take into account defense Mr. Educated lmao

Draymond did play well against Jokic the first two games. But Jokic seemed to figure him out in the last three. Averaged 34 points in games 3-5 all of which came down to the wire.
