So technically shooters could get so accurate that they could intentionally run the clock with their shots AND give their defense time to get back
@lancepeterson79973 күн бұрын
No. Theoretically, yes, but technically (as in relating to technique) there is no way to consistently get these results. Maybe possible to calculate once around the rim, but it will always take luck because of how many variables go into shooting.
@legendgames128Күн бұрын
@@lancepeterson7997 It's the butterfly effect, where even the tiniest changes in the starting conditions can have a massive unpredictable effect on the outcome. Like a basketball player wanting to spin the ball around the rim ten times before going in, but they get the angle wrong by 0.000001 degrees (because humans can't be that precise, especially in competitive scenarios) and all the sudden the ball merely goes around twice before falling in.

This sounds like a plotline from 17776.

The only consistent thing they could do is shoot the ball at such a steep angle that it stays in the air for such a considerably long time before entering the rim

@@m1lkbags The height of the moment was greater with Jordan's shot, but the difficulty of Khawi's shot was clearly greater (running to the right and shooting a corner 3 compared to a straightaway pullup), and both shots ultimately led to a championship, so I'm gonna say Khawi's is better overall
