I've been struggling to find the right content which can help me with my Etsy shop - then I came across this. Thanks so much for your insightful tips, so much of what you mention is exactly what advise I was looking for.

Hello Eva, Great! information : ) Also did you take photo's of your Art works yourself using an SLR camera or Mirror-less camera, or did you have a professional photographer take photos of your original Art works for you, for the Etsy Digital downloads setup ? Many Thanks Eva, Many Blessings, Marc Jones : )

Can the art printables come useful with my handmade body creams or is it just for those who are interested in selling printworks? xx

but here's the thing: you can't - just- start an etsy shop. there are laws and regulations you have to follow to open up a business. this phase took me months and was very disheartening. I'm still insecure about taxes and accounting. the administrative side of an online business shouldn't be ignored and no one ever talks about it on KZbin.

Hi lovely. The administrative side of starting any online business is pretty specific to each person and their personal circumstances... e.g. where they live, their work situation, their tax situation ect. So it's super next to impossible for anyone whose not a trained lawyer to give that sort of advice in a general video. I know it can be super scary to have to sort the legal and tax side of an online business out and I was totally unsure and nervous when I started my own journey and had to find out what I needed to do to be compliant with my local business and tax laws... But I don't think it should stop you from starting your business if it's something you want to achieve. Yes, it can be a little scary and fiddly to work out how to register a business or file your taxes but that goes for pretty much any business that you want to create and they are awesome skills that once learned can be utilized again and again as you continue to grow your businesses and your income. In the end, for my particular situation (I'm in the UK) it actually really wasn't as scary as I first thought and when I consulted a local accountant they made it super simple for me and now I know what I need to do each year to stay organized with my taxes. But I know that for other areas in the world the rules are different and so I wouldn't personally create a video on this subject as I'm not an expert in this field. I'm so sorry if you're struggling to find help on this subject but I would definitely say not to take advice on how to stay business and/or tax compliant from a general video in case it doesn't relate to your area or specific situation... It's much better to get help on this from a local accountant or a tax official in your area which sounds like what you've been doing 😀💕. That is a part of creating any online business or income stream, that is down to you to make sure you have straight. But you are totally right that it's an important part and you're doing the right thing by looking into it and making sure you have all your ducks in a row as you start your Etsy journey 😀💕

@@Evaknowsdigitalcreators hi there! you are right, people need to figure this out by themselves and according to their local laws. I just think it's necessary to also talk about the necessity to do so. at least where I live (Austria) you can't just open a store and try things out. in fact you need to exactly know what you want to do.

@@loungeblogger That is super frustrating lovely. But you're doing the right thing by working within your country laws to make sure you're staying within. It can be a little fiddly here in the UK too but taking those steps to start your journey and get everything in order is an awesome step forward in your journey and so many people are too affraid to do even it. So you should be so proud of yourself for doing that 😀💕
