0.29 second ive been only able to let it pick up a ball 3x with not running out of sync afther following instructions on instructables. then the ball lift malfunictions for me + the blue gear running the green gear somehow has to many slip for me any kind of movement in the arm and the green gear likes to jump a tooth ive read people trying a yellow gear due of 82 teeth vs 84 on the green one i might look into that but the ball lift you made had issues... stil intressting build i hope i can get it to work...

I'm sorry to hear that, I've seen your comment on my instructable page as well and really have been thinking what the issue could be .. I also immediately thought about the 2 biggest gears that don't have the same amount of teeth, so I would look into that. Other than that I would look very closely to see when gears skip a tooth and look if any of the arms get stuck anywhere on the outer frame. Hopes this helps.

@@Thibault_Art i wonder when i have time to look and see if i can improve some of problems ive had with the idea (my new job is taking up to much time with traveling up and down) but i need finish my 2 months testing periode im thinking about leaving that job. *u do have a idea to prevent the skipping of gears its to add extra blue gears just to center the main gear it drives of the middle assembely. (but yeah i need some time to sit down and work on it) which ive not been able to latetly =/

I bet it would be possible to make a mechanical version of the last lift so the Cyber knex wouldn't be required. I've been looking at Lego GBC's for inspiration recently and there's one lift that looked really similar to this but, with it being Lego, it was 100% mechanical. This got me thinking that it might be possible to make that lift mechanical. I'm in need of lifts for our new bm, so I thought I might ask you if I could fiddle around with this (amazing btw) concept. I was just now reading the comments and I found out that you're already working on a new version of this lift, so if you'd rather keep this lift to yourself I totally understand. ☺ I can send you a link to the Lego GBC thing I found through fb if you want.

Green Connector I'm also pretty sure that it's possible to make the last lift fully mechanical. I was planning to make a better version of it, but I never took the time to remake the transmission, let alone an entire new robot lift. I still have the original transmission laying around in my room for when I decide to make a new lift (which is not gonna be soon). So yeah, you can totally use my last lift if you want👍. I would love to see a different version of it. And I would like to see the gbc version as well so if you could send me the link that would be great☺

@@Thibault_Art @green connector I did just that, I built the machine with just one motor. Though, it was harder than it looks haha :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hn3VgYihopdqo7M

XxdodoknexX just watched your vid. Bro, that’s so good! I doubt I would have come up with a system half as good as that. Nice job!

Good Job... Good To See More Instructions And Amazing Creations... Speaking of Instructions, What About The Last One...? Even though it seems complicated, many of us know what cyber Knex is and we have it... It looks hard to make but if you could explain and show in depth how it was made. I have alot of cyber Knex and when I saw this, I was ready to follow the instructions... Yet there aren't any... Keep Up The Good Work And You Just Earned a subscriber. -Xman

Hey Xman, I'm happy to see you enjoyed the video. It's true that I wasn't planning on making any instructions for the last lift that you see in the video. I did that on purpose for multiple reasons, but the biggest reason is because the transmission that controls the Cyber Knex is incredibly unreliable. The good news is that I'm going to make a second version of it that is atleast 80% reliable. But of course, making a better version won't be easy and will take a lot of time. Thanks for showing interest in my creatios and for Subscribing :). Thibault Art.

Which sets are the green gear in?
@Thibault_Art6 жыл бұрын
Paul Noonan I don't think you can get the green gears in a knex set anymore. It's a knex piece that has been discontinued a long time ago. However, you can sometimes find them on the official knex (or Uk) website.

Which sets did they come in? I've looked for the gears already and haven't found anything.
@Thibault_Art6 жыл бұрын
The green gear was available in the "Knex Simple Machine Deluxe" set. But that set is Extremely rare. You'll have a bigger chance finding the gear separately. But you still have to be very lucky.
